SSM Cardinal Glennon Children s Medical Center and SSM Maternity Care partner with Saint Louis University faculty to offer continuing medical education for pediatric and obstetric health care professionals. This Education Connections Guide outlines the variety of electronic and traditional educational opportunities available through SSM Health Care St. Louis and Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and includes contact information and descriptions for each program. NICU Noon Conferences CEU NICU Noon Conferences are monthly one-hour case-study lectures presented during a live online webinar by Saint Louis University faculty and SSM Cardinal Glennon Children s Medical Center neonatologists. Physicians, nurses, case managers and transport coordinators all benefit from the topics presented. PACTS for Life is a pediatric trauma and cardiorespiratory support course created by Anthony Scalzo, MD, in conjunction with staff at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SSM Cardinal Glennon Children s Medical Center. Fetal Care Institute FetalCare@ssmhc.com Phone (314) Fax (314) CEU The St. Louis Fetal Care Institute is a comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic program that specializes in treating congenital problems and structural abnormalities in babies, both in the womb and after birth. The program combines the pediatric expertise of SSM Cardinal Glennon Children s Medical Center, the obstetric expertise of SSM St. Mary s Health Center, and the academic support of St. Louis University. Our Co-Directors, Dr. Mike Vlastos (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) and Dr. Edmund Yang (Fetal/ Pediatric Surgery), and nurses are happy to provide education regarding fetal diagnosis, care coordination, and intervention.

These classes are both didactic and hands-on using the Newborn HAL mobile team trainer. The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program and testing for the AAP/AHA s Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is also offered.
