3 1 Introduction Installation Guide Vector AUTOSAR Solution MICROSAR 3.x 1 Introduction 1.1 General Information This document gives you a short overview about the first steps after you receive your Vector AUTOSAR Solution delivery and how to update. Which Vector release is used? See Additional Information on page 11. Administrator rights are required! Make sure, that you have administrator rights; some setups need them for tool installation! Delivery Description Delivery on E- mail/ftp (Only MICROSAR SIP delivery) The setups are stored as a self decrypting PGPs executable (*.sda) on the Vector FTP server. You have received two s from Vector containing all necessary links and passphrases to download and decrypt the delivery. Delivery on CD The setups are stored on CD (1 CD/tool). The SIP delivery CD includes a link to the FTP server and the necessary passphrases to download and decrypt the latest GENy Framework setup. How to go on now? 6 3 Installation Installation Guide Vector AUTOSAR Solution MICROSAR 3.x 3 Installation This section describes the SIP and tool installation and activation. Cross Reference Before starting tool installation see System Requirements (Additional Information on page 11). 3.1 STEP 1 Decrypt, Unpack and Install MICROSAR SIP Caution - SIP installation on network is not supported! The included programs (e.g. dataserver, InitialEcucGenerator,...) do not work correctly on network, this could lead to errors. Select local path for SIP installation location. MCALs are not longer part of the MICROSAR SIP delivery (exception: Vector is MCAL reseller ). For detailed information about MCAL handling, see section Additional Information on page To Decrypt and Unpack Your MICROSAR SIP 1. Open the link to the FTP server and save <CBDxxx>_<Dyy>_PGP-sda.exe to your computer. 2. Start <CBDxxx>_<Dyy>_PGP-sda.exe and enter the passphrase (password from 2. ) to unpack To Install Your CBDxxx MICROSAR SIP The MICROSAR SIP setup includes the DataServer and DaVinci Project Assistant. Start Vector MICROSAR SIP CBDxxx <Hw> <Comp> Setup.exe and follow the installation hints. The installed SIP files are automatically stored to C:\Vector\CBDxxx folder. Vector Informatik GmbH Version

7 3 Installation Installation Guide Vector AUTOSAR Solution MICROSAR 3.x Launch Persistor Setup (recommended) The MICROSAR SIP Setup contains the Persistor setup. During the installation process you will be asked whether to Launch Persistor setup (recommended). This installation is necessary for diagnostic purposes, contains import filters for different CANdelaStudio versions and installs necessary C++ runtimes. When you select this installation, the CANdela Converter Addon setup window will open. Just follow the installation dialog. After MICROSAR SIP Installation you can find necessary links based on your CBD number in your start menu. Doc Use this link to look up for documents which are included in the SIP. MICROSAR BSW Sources Use this link to open your SIP folder. New ECU Project After tool installation you can use this link to open DaVinci Project Assistant with already assigned SIP To Decrypt, Unpack and Install GENy (optional) Install the latest GENy AUTOSAR framework (GENyAsrFramework_<version>-PGP-sda.exe) from the FTP server. 1. Download GENy Framework setup from ftp://ftp.vector.com/user/bswframeworks/davinci/. 2. Start *-PGP-sda.exe and enter passphrase to decrypt the setup file. The passphrase is send separately via Start the decrypted setup file *.exe and follow the installation hints. Vector Informatik GmbH Version

8 3 Installation Installation Guide Vector AUTOSAR Solution MICROSAR 3.x The GENy Framework setup includes the DataServer and DaVinci Project Assistant. 3.2 STEP 2 Install DaVinci Tools DaVinci tools are delivered before your MICROSAR SIP delivery. If you have already installed the AUTOSAR tools, skip this chapter and go on with the Startup Document [6] To Install and Activate Your DaVinci Configurator Pro (Optional) 1. Start the setup.exe of the DaVinci Configurator Pro delivery and follow the installation hints. 2. Activate your license via Vector License Manager. For more Information about product activation have a look at the LicenseManagerHelp.pdf [3] To Install and Activate Your DaVinci Developer (Optional) This section is only necessary if you use a RTE and if you have purchased the DaVinci Developer. The Developer is delivered before your MICROSAR SIP delivery. If you have already installed and activated the DaVinci Developer, skip this section. 1. Start the setup.exe of the DaVinci Developer delivery and follow the installation hints. 2. Activate your license via Vector License Manager. For more Information about product activation have a look at the LicenseManagerHelp.pdf [3]. 3.3 STEP 3 Check if Additional SIP-specific Tool Exists Dependent on your SIP, the delivery contains additional tools. 1. Open the Doc folder of the new installed SIP 2. Check if InstallationGuide_<SIP-specific Tool>.pdf exists 3. Please note that DaVinci Developer and MICROSAR RTE are closely related so that only compatible versions can be used together. Check the allowed combinations here: Which RTE Version is used? See Which MICROSAR RTE Version is used on page Update From Internet You get the update from the Download-Center on Update From FTP You get the update from the FTP server. It is the same step as described for installation. 4.3 To Update Your DaVinci Developer (Optional) Download the latest service pack of DaVinci Developer from 1. Open and browse to the Download-Center 2. Download the new service pack of the DaVinci Developer. 3. Start the setup.exe to update the DaVinci Developer on your computer. 4.4 To Update Your DaVinci Configurator (Optional) Download the latest setup of the DaVinci Configurator from 1. Open and browse to the Download-Center 2. Download the new setup of the DaVinci Configurator. 3. Start the setup.exe to update the DaVinci Configurator on your computer. 4.5 To Update Your Persistors (Optional) Download the latest versions of Persistors from Vector Informatik GmbH Version

12 5 Additional Information Installation Guide Vector AUTOSAR Solution MICROSAR 3.x Additional system requirements (for standalone generators, e.g. MicrosarGen.exe) are listed in [5]. 5.2 Integrate and update MCAL For new deliveries, MCALs are not longer part of the MICROSAR SIP delivery (exception: Vector is MCAL reseller ). Now you have to order the necessary MCALs directely from the Hardware Manufacturer. The MICROSAR SIP includes a script, which will include the MCAL. You can find the Script_MCAL_Prepare.bat within the following path: ThirdParty\<MCAL_µC>\VectorIntegration\. Cross Reference For detailed information see TechnicalReference_3rdParty-MCAL-Integration.pdf. (This document is only available in deliveries without MCAL) If you want to update your MCAL, you have to execute the Script_MCAL_Prepare.bat once again. 5.3 Additional Tools, recommended by Vector CANoe If you use vvirtualtarget, Vector recommend CANoe as test tool. If you have licensed CANoe, the following Installation steps are necessary: 1. Download the last CANalyzer / CANoe Service Pack from Vector Download-Center com/vi_downloadcenter_en.html 2. Unpack the downloaded zip file CANalyzerCANoe_xx_SPyy.zip 3. Start CANwin_xx_SPyy.exe and follow the installation hints. 4. Activate your license via Vector License Manager. The DeliveryDescription_ CBDxxxxxxx.html is stored at the Doc/DeliveryInformation folder of the installed Vector MICROSAR SIP.
