You see, at Mäster Johan, every room is equipped with double doors to ensure peace and quiet. And the floors are built upon rubber bricks (sound travels downwards). In other words: we consider comfort a craft, and we take our craft very seriously! Our valet parking service will park your car in our underground garage. We ve integrated our breakfast area with the kitchen to ensure you get the eggs just the way you want them. And if you re a returning guest, you ll most likely be offered your regular room. 3 STANDARD WITH A FEELING Our Standard rooms are tastefully decorated in classic shades and natural materials. The floors are made of solid oak covered with soft, genuine carpets. The beds, from French company Grange, are made up with exclusive designer bed linen and genuine down quilts and pillows. And, as in all our rooms, you will find a TV and telephone from Bang & Olufsen.

4 BREAKFAST A FEAST FOR YOUR EYES AND MIND The breakfast area is integrated with the kitchen, which means you can choose your dishes straight off the cooker. Since Skåne is known as Sweden s granary, we are indeed spoilt for choice when selecting the ingredients for our breakfast buffet. Pick your favourite newspaper and sit down in the breakfast garden while the day dawns through the cupola above. The true way to enjoy a hotel breakfast!

5 SUPERIOR ROOMS WITH ROOM Our Superior category consists of our second largest rooms, with a view over the breakfast garden. While offering the same high quality as our other rooms, the Superior room also contains a sofa and two armchairs in which to relax and recharge.

6 BATHROOMS A PLACE TO STAY At Mäster Johan, the bathroom details are equally as important as in any other room. Therefore, each bathroom in the new extension consists of blue marble from Brazil and ceramic tiles by Paloma Picasso. Dimmers control the lighting, the floors are heated, loudspeakers are integrated into the walls, and soft terry bathrobes are provided for your comfort.

7 BUSINESS AND PLEASURE Our large, spacious Business rooms have separate bedrooms and sitting rooms. They are, of course, ideally suited for the guest with a need to conduct small business meetings, but are also perfect for the travelling family. Or for the visitor who simply wishes to stay a little longer. The bathrooms are newly renovated, there are TVs in both rooms, and the sofas can easily be made into beds.

8 CONFERENCE INSPIRATIONAL MEETINGS Next to the ground floor atrium you will find our modern conference rooms, with facilities that can cater for small as well as larger meetings. All rooms are equipped with wireless connection and are furnished with the proper equipment required to guarantee an effective meeting. We can also offer a large hall with a podium, ideal for lectures, product demonstrations, evening activities and dining events. To ensure you can focus all your attention on your guests, our staff members are available at all times to serve anything from snacks and drinks to complete menus.

9 JUNIOR SUITE SUBTLE LUXURY Mäster Johan s most exclusive rooms are the Junior Suites. Here you ll find a spacious bathroom with plenty of natural daylight streaming in through the windows, Brazilian blue marble and integrated speakers. Each suite also has a large wide-screen TV, a wall-mounted stereo and a separate sitting area. Small details that combine to convey a subtle sense of luxury.

10 SAUNA/GYM RELAX AND RECHARGE Down in our basement area you will experience a harmonic combination of the old and the new: the sauna is built upon the exact spot of the original 15th century bathhouse, and a part of the wall from the original building has actually been preserved. In this area you will also find a modern multipurpose gym with treadmills, exercise bikes and other such equipment for anyone who likes to stay in shape or who simply needs to unwind after an exhausting day.

11 THE ATRIUM TIME FOR PEACE AND QUIET Our spacious Pillar Garden, the very heart of the hotel, is the perfect place to wind down after a hectic day. Enjoy a free cup of quality coffee and a biscuit from our coffee buffet. Or maybe a bite to eat and a beer from the bar? If, on the other hand, you feel like taking a brisk walk or going for a jog, there are plenty of beautiful areas in the immediate vicinity of the hotel; Malmö is widely known as the city of parks.

The city was founded in the 13th century, and a framework of beautiful parks and canals surround the well-preserved City Centre. Examples of Malmö s contemporary, prize-winning architecture can mainly be found in the Western Harbour area. Most striking of all is the renowned and mighty Turning Torso Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava s 190 metres of twisted steel reaching for the sky!
