2 How to find the words Date: Friday the 5th and Wednesday the 10th of November Time: 10: Place: Entrè Scenen, Lille Prøvesal Participants: Max 15 Workshop leader: Jakob Edut: Journalist and working with PR at Entré Scenen Jette Skjoldborg: Dance critic and administrative manager at Entré Scenen The thoughts and feelings about your work is probably very clear to yourself.it is inside your head and it fills your body. But how do you find the words to express it fully and satisfactory to everybody else and most importantly to the audience? And what do they need to know to catch an interest? How do you communicate without compromising the integrity of the work in this workshop we will discuss this issue with examples from different texts. We would like the participants to bring their personal texts for discussion. We will present to you the journalistic tool Show it, don t tell it! and hopefully this will make it easier for you the next time you are making a text for either programmers, press releases or applications. Method bank Date: Saturday the 6th of November Time: 10: Participants: Max 15 Workshop leader: Barbara Simonsen from the Laboratory In this workshop of practical exchange and reflection, the artists are invited to share their tools and methods, and their thoughts and experiences with the various processes of creation, rehearsal and collaboration. Through informal discussions, practical demonstrations and one-on-one exchange sessions, the participating artists will get the chance to meet each other behind the scene; a rare opportunity to share the methods, tools, problems and solutions of the artistic process, as well as profit from the inspiration of just discovering how the others do! The workshop is facilitated by staff from Laboratoriet, Entré Scenen s department for performing arts experiments, research and development. Please prepare a description or practical demonstration of one particular tool or method that you have used in your creative work process and that you would like to share. There are no right answers or forms just something that is clear and useful to you. And please consider one particular problem or weakness that you have experienced in your process that you want to solve or get around.

3 Open source a market of ideas feedback and speed up on dreams, wishes and practice. Date: Thursday the 9th of November Time: Participants: Max 20 Workshop leader: Jesper de Neergaard, artistic manager of Entré Scenen Your contribution is imperative here help your colleges and help yourself. At Open Source you have the possibility to present an issue in 3 minutes. It can be anything you wish your colleagues to comment on or provide solutions for; request for partners, try out any crazy idea or share your experiences on various subjects. All the suggested subjects will be discussed and there will be a possibility to build interest groups for separate discussions. Please send us a short notice of the issue that is on your mind and we will make an agenda for the workshop The Dramaturgy of the Visual Date: Thursday the 11th of November Time: 10:00 17:00 Participants: Max 16 Workshop leader: Jakob Schokking Groups of 3-4 are using spaces on 3x3m., 3 lamps, a screen and a video to make a mini performance. Rules are stuck out. Inputs are given. Precisions are suggested. The performances shown. Discussed. Criticized. Bring it home with you! Jacob Schokking is a stage director, set designer and the artistic manager of the theatre Holland House. The theatre is well known for its visual performance theatre of rare standard. Please prepare a 3-4 minutes line: a choreographic line, a dramatic situation or a dramatic text. If you want to bring your own video material then also bring your laptop. 4 The Junge Hunde Court Date: 8th and 12th of November Time: til Place: Entré Scenen, Lille Prøvesal During this year s festival there are two performances on trial. Come and experience an alternative way of audience talk. You have the possibility to bring you personal feedback to the artist, but also listen to the advice given by the dramaturge acting as accuser or defender. Maybe the advice has some value for your own artistic work? The two performances that are under accusation are: Record of Time, a performance produced at Institute for Applied Theatre Studies, University in Giessen, Germany. You can see the performance at the 6th and 7th of November at Archauz AND Rebirth of the Critical made by Danish IDAPERFORMS and Deskorder from Romania. You can see the performance on the 10th and 11th of November at Archauz Preperation: It is crucial that you have seen the performance before going to trial, so you can attend the discussion. Symposium A new education in performing arts in Denmark Date: 7TH of November Time: Place: Archauz Different selections, institutions and inters groups have pointed out the need of a new kind of education in the field of Performing Arts, as crucial. The Junge Hunde Festival is a forum for young artist, often newly educated or still in educations. We therefore think that the festival is a nice frame for presenting this discussion. This symposium is a discussion that starts with ten small speeches from persons that are all involved in the question of making a new education, and how to make it work in a national and especially an international frame.
