CLAY COUNTY 4-H PREMIUM FAIRBOOKS Additional books will be available at the office if needed. The Clay County Fairbook as well as the Nebraska State Fair book are also available on the website at clay.unl.edu. Utilizing the fairbook will be the tool you need to make fair entries. You have already enrolled online in 4-H and selected your curriculum projects (done by April 1) so the next step will be to pre-enter your actual entries from the projects. Pre-entry sheets are available on the Clay.unl.edu website as well as included in this newsletter. Pre-entry forms are due in the office June 15. This allows us to enter your information in the computer and generate an entry card for you when you bring items to the fair. Entry times to bring Static Exhibits to the fair are Wednesday July 6 from 6-8 p.m. or Thursday from 8-10 a.m. 4-H T-SHIRTS the official show shirt for Clay County is either the white or green 4-H shirt with a clover on the front. These shirts are available at the office. We try to keep a reasonable inventory but really do encourage you to either call ahead or stop by the office to get yours prior to fair needs. Cost of the shirts are $7 for white and $9 for green. Sizes are youth and adult. FAIR T-SHIRTS 4-H Council has sponsored FAIR t-shirts again this year. The shirts are teal in color and will sell for $5. They will be available for ALL Fair-go- ers so pass the word along. These are fun fair shirts and will NOT replace the official 4-H shirts required for showing livestock or participation in contests at the fair. A few extra shirts were ordered so if you missed it and want one, contact us now to make sure you get one.
