Since it began 9 years ago, OTD has developed from a gathering of customers in Straume, near Bergen, to Norway s largest annual Energy trade show, with over 200 exhibiting companies and approximately visitors in recent years. At OTD, you will have the opportunity to examine the technological solutions our exhibiting companies currently offer to the Oil and Energy Industry, while making many interesting and important contacts. Concurrent with OTD, SPE Norwegian Section will be hosting The Petroleum Technology Conference, while Norwegian Petroleum Society hosts an Operations and Maintenance conference, Offshore Drift og Vedlikeholdskonferanse. You will also have the opportunity to attend several seminars at OTD. 4 OTD Seminars In connection with OTD, three official OTD seminars will be hosted by Offshore Media Group and their partner organizations. The FMC Technologies Subsea School, stand 1216, hall A. FMC Technologies is a world leader within the field of Subsea Technology. They invite you to a 50 min. Subsea School to be held at 10 am, 12 pm and 2 pm, on October 14 th and 15 th. The subsea class introduces the participant to a journey through the operations and equipments related to installation of an oil and gas subsea production unit. With film, 3D-animations and photos, the different phases of the subsea on-site project is visualized and explained. Russia: Shtokman Yaml - How to position for these projects? At this workshop, young employees from major Oil Industry firms, will explain how their education is used on a daily basis in their work.
