5 Travel Info Official currency is Czech crown (CZK). In some shops and restaurants EURO is accepted, too. The main international airport in Prague (PRG) - Ruzyně is connected to many European airports. Participants from overseas can reach Prague directly or via other European airports (Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, Paris etc). The airport in Prague is linked to the main railway station Praha Hlavní nádraží by bus No. 119 (from the airport to Dejvická bus stop) followed by subway from Dejvická to the Hlavní Nádraží station (Line A should be changed at the Muzeum station to the Line C). Tickets for bus and subway can be bought directly in the bus, at ticket machines or at the Ticket Office at the entrance to the subway. A transfer ticket costs 26 Czech crowns (valid for 75 min, during weekends for 90 min). If you will use taxi please negotiate the price in advance. Normal price from the airport to the main railway station is about EUR. Taxi ranks are situated just in front of the arrivals hall. 5

6 Trains from Prague to Hradec Králové depart every hour (from 6:11 to 21:11), tickets should be bought at the cashdesk in the railway station and cost about 150 CZK. Hradec Králové can be reached also by bus from the bus terminal Florenc (go from the airport by the bus No. 119 to the bus stop Dejvická, transfer to subway Line A and change in the Můstek station for the subway Line B to bus station Florenc). Buses to Hradec Králové depart frequently during working days (from 6:05 to 19:30) but during weekends there are only a few connections. Tickets can be bought at the cash desk or from the bus driver; the cost is 100 CZK. The journey from Prague to Hradec Králové takes about min by bus or train. The timetables can be found at The Faculty of Pharmacy is located nearby the center of Hradec Králové where all the recommended hotels are situated. Hotels can be reached by the trolley-buses No. 2 or 6 or by the buses No. 12 or 15 from Hradec Králové main railway station to the Adalbertinum bus stop. The hotels are within 5 min walk from this bus stop. Taxi from the main railway or bus station to your hotel will cost about 6 EUR. 6

7 It takes 10 min walk to get from the hotels to the Faculty of Pharmacy (and its Botanic Garden). If you walk down from the Velké náměstí (Big Square) through the stair passage, cross the river, go straight, turn to the left just before reaching the big crossing with traffic lights, you will get to the building with glass corridor above the road (Faculty of Pharmacy). If you will turn to the left just after crossing the river, you will see a football playground on the right hand side, turn to the right in between the playground and garden and you will reach the entrance to the Faculty botanic garden. 7

Participation in the Workshop should be confirmed in the registration form. Companies that intend to present instrumentation and other equipment will find excellent exhibition facilities. Conditions are available on request. Conference will have very informal atmosphere, the IC FIA type. Please send by your suggestions for topics to be discussed at the panel sessions. 11

12 Abstract submission Abstracts can be submitted as attachment to an message. Please specify whether you prefer an oral or a poster presentation. Only a limited number of oral presentations will be available. Abstracts must be submitted as MSWord or rtf-files adhering to the format of the common template, using Times New Roman font, 12 pt and not exceeding one A4 page. Figures and tables may also be included as long as the file size does not exceed 2 MB. You will be informed about the acceptance of your contribution immediately after the submission.
