2 Subsea Technology & Rentals Ltd About STR Subsea Technology & Rentals (STR) is a specialist technology company providing rental and sales services globally to the offshore marine sectors. For over 20 years, STR has delivered mission critical solutions to support offshore survey, ROV, IRM, positioning, environmental and subsea construction sectors. Regeneration After nearly 20 years of operating at its original premises under the established name of Sonar Equipment Services, STR began exciting new ownership in November In 2013, with a reinvigorated push to provide the best service in our sector and with sustainable growth, the company moved into a modern, purpose developed building under the new name STR. Under new ownership, new premises and a complete re-brand, investment and growth have steadily continued across all business lines with a significant increase in staff, for both onshore and offshore support, rental equipment inventory, product research & development, new facilities and global expansion. As an innovative company STR understands the importance of developing new technology and delivering class leading services to give our customers the best solutions. Continual investment in the latest marine technology has seen our spectrum of rental equipment increase to satisfy all marine and subsea activities. Our new cable moulding department and state of the art calibration laboratory are examples of our commitment to progress.

3 FACILITIES AND SERVICES STR operates state of the art testing and engineering facilities to maintain our rental equipment inventory to the highest standards, in line with manufacture specification. Hyperbaric Pressure Test Facility A 400 bar pressure test chamber will simulate the enormous force subsea equipment must withstand when operating in deep water. This is crucial for testing components such as transducers, subsea electronic housings and connectors before subsea deployment. Acoustic Tank A purpose built acoustically baffled water tank enables the testing of subsea sensors prior to deployment into the field. Calibrated hydrophones and receivers, together with FFT analysis, allow fast and accurate measure of system performance. Training We recognise that the correct and safe operation of all equipment supplied by STR is paramount to the success of a project and ultimately the reputation of our customers. Therefore, we have carefully developed a range of training courses to accommodate all abilities and professionals, with the aim of helping our customers to maintain a competent and trained workforce. We take appropriate and considered steps to ensure each course is delivered in a relaxed and comfortable environment - one that actively encourages discussions and tests new found skills. All students are provided with a digital copy of the course presentation, certificate and training notes for future reference. 4 Services SERVICES Calibration Services A range of calibration services are now available at STR including sound velocity, temperature, pressure and conductivity. With guidance from industry leading manufactures our new calibration laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation and is operated by qualified engineers to international standards. Personnel STR equipment supply can be complemented with highly skilled offshore survey engineers to attend vessel mobilisations and support our customers offshore operations. Our offshore personnel are qualified in a relevant engineering discipline and certified for offshore deployment. 5 Subsea Cable Moulding STR offers a full range of encapsulation and moulding services for the oil and gas, renewable and marine industries, alongside a selection of products and services for the reliable termination of subsea electrical connections. A range of stainless steel and plastic cable grips, including lace-up versions, are available to conveniently terminate tow cables for use with lightweight vehicles. 7 Geophysical & Hydrographic Survey STR is proud to hold one of the largest fleets of geophysical survey equipment in the industry. STR manufactured products and world leading products from manufacturers including Applied Acoustics, CodaOctopus, EdgeTech and Geometrics are available from STR and are all backed up with our inhouse expertise. We can supply solutions for sidescan sonar and sub-bottom profiling systems for towed and hosted platforms, marine magnetometers and a wide range of marine survey winches for shallow and deep water towed surveys. A wide range of multibeam systems from leading manufacturers R2Sonic, Kongsberg and Teledyne Reson cater for nearshore and full ocean depth operations. ROV Survey Sensors STR provides a full spectrum of ROV sensors and peripherals from all leading manufacturers including Sound Metrics, Tritech, Teledyne BlueView and Kongsberg for subsea inspection, profiling and monitoring tasks. We offer the Innova Matrix standalone fibre optic multiplexer to interface a large array of survey sensors on a hosted vehicle and our team of skilled offshore survey engineers can provide full configuration, integration and offshore support services. NDT Equipment We offer a selection of NDT equipment for ROV and diver inspection tasks. Flooded Member Detection (FMD), Cathodic Protection (CP) and thickness gauge instruments are available for inspection of offshore platforms, pipelines and assets. Cutting edge technology from manufacturers ASAMS, Buckleys, Cygnus, Deepwater, RSL and Tritex can all be found at STR and operated by our skilled offshore support team. In partnership with Neptune Oceanographic, STR is a global leader in the provision of subsea pipeline leak detection services. 8 Digital Video STR has developed a field proven range of underwater camera systems for nearshore and deepwater environmental monitoring. In partnership with digital video software experts OPTIONS, STR can cater for multi-channel Digital Video recording systems with the supply of their SeaDV Inspection Recorder and a range of SD and HD cameras from Kongsberg, Bowtech and STR developed cameras. Positioning STR holds an extensive range of equipment for nearshore and deepwater underwater tracking and high accuracy positioning applications. USBL systems from Applied Acoustic, Sonardyne and ixblue are available from STR, alongside an extensive inventory of peripheral equipment such as motion sensors, gyros, Inertial Navigation Systems and DVL s from Kongsberg, Teledyne and Sonardyne. STR holds a large inventory of Sonardyne 6G LBL acoustic positioning technology which is tested and calibrated to manufacture specifications in-house. Specialist Marine Technologies Ltd have selected STR as exclusive sales and rental agents for their specialist Taut Wire DP sensors globally. The TW-1.0 Light Weight Taut Wire is a DP position reference system; which is designed for use as a deckmounted sensor on surface vessels. ROV Tooling In partnership with a leading ROV tooling manufacture, STR is equipped to supply and support a wide range of specialist ROV intervention tooling for rental to complement our ROV sensors supply. Our diverse inventory held in-house is available for immediate hire including soft line and wire rope cutters, grinders, diamond wire saw, pan & tilt camera boom arms, torque tools, hot stabs, tooling skids and dirty work packs. When there is a requirement for an observation and inspection vehicle, STR can provide SAAB Seaeye Falcon ROV and the ultra-portable VideoRay electric ROV. Metocean STR holds a comprehensive range of environmental monitoring instrumentation from leading manufacturers including Valeport, Teledyne RDI, Sonardyne and Niskin. We hold a range of products to cater for nearshore and deepwater environmental monitoring which includes current meters, tide gauges, sound velocity probes, multi-parameter profilers, water samplers and we can provide instrumentation frames solutions and acoustic releases for deployment solutions.

Vectory Sensor Systems AS Vectory Sensor Systems AS specialise in the design and delivery of attitude and inertial navigation systems for the marine and subsea industry. A range of cost effective surface and subsea attitude and positioning sensors are available through STR. Tritex NDT Tritex NDT is a leading company specialising in the manufacture and supply of Multiple Echo Ultrasonic Metal Thickness Gauges used for verifying corrosion levels and measuring metal thickness from one side only, without removing any protective coatings. Tritex NDT supply ultrasonic thickness meters worldwide for use in all applications where metal thickness is a concern.
