3 About Technip in Norway Orkanger, Trondheim Haugesund Stavanger Sandvika, Oslo Since the mid-1990 s, Technip has played a leading role in Norway in the development of subsea fields and infield transportation systems. The Technip group is represented in Norway by its subsidiary Technip Norge with the main office in Lysaker just west of Oslo, as well as operating centers in Oslo East, Stavanger, Haugesund and the spoolbase in Orkanger. Our core business is to provide engineering, procurement, construction and installation services for subsea and offshore projects. Within subsea this includes tie-backs, subsea construction, flowline installation, flexible riser and flowline supply, marine operations, diving and inspection maintenance and repair (IMR) activities. Through the investments in offshore competencies, such as the strategic agreement with KANFA and majority stake in Inocean, Technip in Norway is in the process of building a significant competence base on the design and engineering of offshore facilities for service on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) and worldwide. In 2006, Technip established its operating center in Stavanger to serve Statoil s Frame Contract for Diving, Pipeline Repair, Contingency and Modification Services and to manage operations of the PRS base in Haugesund. Since then the Stavanger office has seen extensive growth and now consists of around 190 people, approximately half of which are engineering related. The investments in offshore competencies, such as the strategic agreement with KANFA and majority stake in Inocean enables : Topside/Process studies and FEED s performance in Norway EPC of process packages / modules of < 5, 000 t In depth understanding of the Norwegian regulatory compliance requirements Rigid pipeline production Our Norway spoolbase is located in Orkanger, near Trondheim on the west coast of Norway. This position is ideal for the Norwegian Shelf. About 1,300 km of pipeline, typically ranging in size from 4- to 16-inches in diameter, has been produced since operations began in The spoolbase is optimised for efficient operations with either of Technip s reel lay vessels, Apache II or Deep Energy, that operate in the regions. The spoolbase has recently had a major upgrade to optimize fabrication of pipe-in-pipe flowlines, increase pipe handling capacity to 20 pipe, and to allow parallel spooling for Technip s new pipelay vessel Deep Energy. Pipeline repair system The Pipeline Repair System (PRS) base in Haugesund, managed by Technip on behalf of Statoil and the other members of the PRS Pool, is the center for contingency operations and resources for the Norwegian Gas and Oil Pipeline Systems. The PRS Pool comprises a wide range of specially designed equipment for both manned and remote intervention and repair of submarine pipelines, designed to cover the entire span of diameters and water depths on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. 6 Projects in Norway North Sea Atlantic Åsgard Gas Compression Technip in Norway has seen an increase in the size and complexity of projects, as well as more use of EPCI contracts. To these projects Technip brings a unique track record with EPCI execution, state-of-the art assets, and high added-value differentiating technologies. Marathon: Bøyla EPCI Project of the latest major tie-back to Marathon s Alvheim Field, consisting of the design, supply and installation of a new subsea manifold connected to the Alvheim FPSO, via the Kneler A Manifold, by a 27 km long highly insulated pipe-in-pipe production flowline, a water injection flowline, gas lift line and umbilical. The scope includes detailed engineering, procurement activities, offshore construction, diver tie-ins, trenching and seabed intervention, and RFO works. Maersk: DBU Subsea Development Several contracts under execution for pipelaying, caisson fabrication and installation, spool piece fabrication and diver tie-ins for projects in the Danish Sector of the North Sea. Spooling for Bøyla Project at Orkanger Spoolbase Statoil: Åsgard Gas Compression Marine operations for the construction of the first of it s kind Subsea Gas Compression facility for the Åsgard field. The extensive scope of work includes design, fabrication, installation and tie-in of 17 large tie-in spools, installation of power cables and umbilicals from the Åsgard platforms to the compressor station, testing / RFO activities, provision and installation of protection covers, etc. The contract also includes the design and fabrication of a Special Handling System, including provision of the North Sea Giant vessel, for the initial installation of the subsea compression system modules (up to 320T) plus Heavy-IMR of the system for the first years of operation. Execution of this extensive scope has been shared between the Stavanger and Oslo offices of Technip. Total: Edradour EPCI Project for the West of Shetlands development of the Edradour and Glenlivet tie-backs to the Laggan Tormore Pipeline system providing gas to the new Shetland Gas Plant. The scope includes ~120 km of flowlines and ~60 km of umbilicals, together with subsea structures, tie-ins, protection covers, rock dumping services and RFO activities. Execution of this project from the Oslo office demonstrates the flexibility of the Technip model and the ability to serve client needs by using experience and resources from Norway on projects elsewhere. 6 Technip in Norway

7 Statoil: Aasta Hansteen Spar First deep-water field in Norwegian waters 1300 m First Spar in Norwegian waters First use of Steel catenary risers in Norway Largest Spar ever built First Spar with condensate storage and off-loading First Technip Floater in Norwegian waters Aasta Hansteen Spar** Nordstream 48 Hyperbaric Welding Operations conducted by Skandi Arctic in the Baltic Sea in 2011 / 2012 providing gas from Russia to Europe. It proved to be the largest PRS welding operation ever performed and amongst the most critical operations performed during the construction works of the two 1200 km long 48 pipelines. Kvitebjørn 30 Pipeline Repair Conducted in 2008 / 2009 comprised the permanent repair of a damaged pipeline section which was cut and replaced remotely with a spool section containing one 30 Morgrip connector at each end. Hot Taps Ormen Lange was the world s first remote hot tap in deep water, while the Åsgard Retrofit Tee Hot Tap was the world s first retrofit tee hot tap operation ever conducted by remote welding a tee piece to a bare pipeline. Both projects, executed in close cooperation with Statoil, contained significant new technology. Eni: Goliat EPCI of the first oil production project in Norwegian waters north of the Arctic Circle. The scope encompasses all parts of the subsea scope with engineering, procurement and installation of the flowline and riser system plus installation of client-provided templates and umbilicals. The successful execution of this project has required a major focus on logistics due to the remote location in the far North of Norway where the infrastructure and facilities are limited. The execution model was developed from Technip s previous involvement in the development of Statoil s Snøhvit gas field. Lundin: Brynhild EPCI Project of Lundin s first subsea development in Norway, consisting of the design, supply and installation of a 37 km long highly insulated pipe-in-pipe production flowline to the Pierce platform in the UK Sector, a water injection flowline and umbilical. The scope includes detailed engineering, procurement activities, offshore construction, tie-ins, trenching and seabed intervention and RFO works. Goliat Project Brynhild Project Technip in Norway 7
