3 These assembly instructions cover both Elegance ROUND bassinets and Elite OVL bassinets. The shape of the units is different but the parts and assembly steps are identical. STEP 1 - PICTURES 1 and 1B: ttach ONE CSTER WHEEL (E) to each leg of the END PNELS () using ONE BOLT (E2) and ONE KNOB (E3) for each WHEEL (E1). The knobs go on the inside. The square hole on the wheel goes on the outside so the head of the bolt locks into the hole. Take ONE END PNEL () and attach the TWO RILS (B) using TWO LONG BOLTS (C). The grooves on the rails face inwards. The T-Nuts pre-installed on the end panels face out. Slide the SHELF (D) into the grooves with the white warning label facing up. Then attach the second END PNEL () to the TWO RILS (B) using TWO LONG BOLTS (C). STEP 2 - PICTURE 2 (this page) and 2B (on page 3): PICTURE 1 Using the FOUR L-BRCKETS (F) and the SIXTEEN SHORT BOLTS (G), bolt the BSSINET BODY (H) to the BSSINET STND. Put the bassinet body upside down, and then put the bassinet stand upside down on top of the bassinet body as shown in PICTURE 2B. Line up the four pairs of holes on the END PNELS () with the four pairs of holes on the BSSINET BODY (H). Position the L-BRCKETS (F) on the INSIDE OF THE END PNELS and secure them using the SIXTEEN SHORT BOLTS (G). PICTURE 2 H IMPORTNT! THE T-NUTS ON THE END PNELS RE ON THE OUTSIDE. THE BRCKETS RE ON THE INSIDE. B PICTURE 1B D B WRNING! Once the bassinet stand is assembled, do not disassemble and reassemble for future use. Doing so may affect the stability and safety. 4 H I F H PICTURE 3 J PICTURE 2B STEP 3 - PICTURE 3: With the bassinet in its upright position, wrap the FBRIC SKIRT (I) around the lower rim of the BSSINET BODY (H) pressing the grip tape strips together as you go around. Begin and end at the rear center where the metal spindle is located (the ends may overlap). STEP 4 - PICTURE 4: Push button on canopy pole (J) must snap into the hole on the metal spindle. There are two holes in the metal spindle on the bassinet body to height adjust the canopy. Insert the METL CNOPY POLE (J) into the metal spindle on the bassinet body (H) and line up a hole on the metal spindle with the push button on the canopy pole. Make sure the push button snaps into the hole. PICTURE 4 STEP 5 - PICTURE 5: Insert the two free ends of the CNOPY FRME (K) into the top of the CNOPY POLE (J). Tap gently with a hammer until the ends of the frame are fully seated inside the pole. Place the FBRIC CNOPY (L) onto the CNOPY FRME (K). Secure it to the frame with the ribbons and/or the grip tabs. 5 STEP 6 - PICTURES 6 and 7: M N, O Position the FBRIC BUMPER (M) inside the BSSINET BODY (H). Position and then secure the tabs on the bumper to the thicker dowels and tie the ribbons, and then tie the remaining ribbons to the thinner dowels. NOTE: Be sure the bumper is secured and check the ribbons regularly to make sure they stay tied. Loose bedding can be a danger to your baby. PICTURE 6 Put the FBRIC FITTED SHEET (N) onto the MTTRESS (O) and place them inside the bassinet. dditional sheets are sold separately! NOTE: Your bedding and canopy may vary in color, pattern, and/or style from what is shown here. CRE INSTRUCTIONS: Wipe bassinet clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent as needed. Bedding can be machine washed on cold, gentle cycle, and air dried or tumble dry on low or no heat. Iron on lowest setting for poly/ cotton. Secure all grip tabs together before washing so they do not catch on the bedding or ribbons. WRNING - FILURE TO FOLLOW THESE WRNINGS ND THE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DETH: FLL HZRD: To help prevent falls, please note this bassinet is a safe place for your newborn to sleep until Baby is 4 months old, 20 lbs. (9.09 kg), OR when Baby can push up, roll over, or crawl - whichever limit comes first. SUFFOCTION HZRD - Infants can suffocate:» in gaps between an extra pad and the side of the bassinet,» on soft bedding. NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding. Use ONLY the pad and/or bedding provided by the manufacturer. If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided with the bassinet or one that is from Badger Basket Company or one that is specifically designed to fit the dimension of the the mattress provided. TO REDUCE THE RISK OF SIDS: pediatricians recommend that healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician. DO NOT move or carry the bassinet with your baby inside of it. DO NOT allow other children or pets to climb into or onto the bassinet when your infant is inside. DO NOT attach or place toys with strings in or around the basket. Strings can PICTURE 7 cause strangulation or choking. Keep bassinet away from stoves, heaters, camp fires/flames, fireplaces, stairs, open windows, window blinds, running or standing water, and any other hazard which could cause injury to your baby. NEVER use plastic bags inside the basket such as to cover the mattress. Bassinet should always be placed on a firm, flat surface.
