1 Creating an Automated Empire in Under One Hour This short guide will show you everything you need to do in the first hour to create the foundation for an automated empire, and show you step by step everything you need to do to make money by taking advantage of automated SEO!

2 Chapter 1: Introduction Welcome to the Creating an Automated Empire in Under One Hour blueprint guide! Since I promised that this guide would tell you what you need to do in your first hour, I ll skip the fluff and go straight into it! This guide can work for anyone, as long as you have a very basic knowledge of SEO and you should feel comfortable creating your own website. For instance you should know what links are and why they are important, and you should feel comfortable doing something like installing WordPress. We will cover everything else so that people of all experience levels can take advantage of this guide. So experienced users will find that they can skip most of the first couple of chapters, while new users may want to take some extra time each section over. Although we say that you can set up your foundation in under an hour, it is far more important that you get everything right than it is to get everything fast. So if you find yourself taking a little bit of extra time at each step, don t worry! As you spend more time following this guide, building sites, ranking sites, and ranking money, this will all become second nature to the point where you could do this entire guide in under 30 minutes! The purpose of this guide This guide was partially created because we have found that many users start using our product, get excited about the unlimited content it provides, and then realize that they have no clue what to do with the content once they create it. What we are going to reveal isn t the only way you can use Article Forge, but it is extremely effective, and almost entirely automated, which makes it one of our favorites! That s all for this introduction, let s get right into setting up an automated ranking machine!

3 Chapter 2: The Foundation Before we get started with setting up your automated empire we first need to make sure that your foundation is solid. Even the best laid plans can only work if they are resting on a solid foundation! So we are quickly going to go through all of the ingredients that you need before you can get started. Many of you will already have all of these, but I want to make sure that everyone reading this has everything they need to properly succeed, so I will go through each of them quickly. This guide is set up so that if you do see a section you already have covered you can easily skip it and move on to the next section. The first (and very underrated) thing you need to do The very first thing that we need is to decide what keywords we are going to try rank for. For a beginner I strongly recommend that you start with an easy keyword first, and then once you have succeeded in ranking for that keyword and you are making a little bit of money then you can grow and target more difficult keywords. I cannot stress how important this step is. If you target the keyword Facebook you could do everything in this guide perfectly and still not succeed I mean you aren t going to outrank Facebook for their own name! The first thing we want to do is get a list of what we call long tail keywords. A long tail keyword is a longer and much more specific keyword, while a short tail keyword is a very short and broad keyword. For instance origami is a short tail keyword, while lucky stars origami is a long tail. As another example, lose weight is a short tail keyword, while fruits and vegetables only diet is a long tail keyword. In general long tail keywords have less people writing about them which makes them much easier to rank for. So you can easily start out with a keyword like lucky stars origami 1 and then once you have ranked at the top of Google for that keyword you can begin to branch out for other similar types of origami like origami modular star or simple origami star. And then once you have all of those ranking you can start doing even more types of origami like origami deer or origami bear, and before you 1 Remember that there are a lot of people reading this guide, so if you pick the exact example keyword I use you ll probably be competing with the one hundred other people who also read this same guide. So be a little creative with the niche and keywords you pick and it will pay off big time!

4 know it you ll have a huge site that can rank for very competitive short tail keywords like origami or origami instructions. So in short, start small and once you have mastered your small corner of the web, then grow big! Now the next question is, how do you know what types of keywords you should be ranking for? How did I know to do something like lucky stars origami? For this, we have an awesome free tool that can help us find an easy keyword Google s very own Keyword Planner! Once you have a Google Adwords (which is free to create) and have logged into the Google Planner you should see something like this:

5 So from here click on the Search for new keywords using a phrase, website or category and you will see an area for you to enter potential keyword ideas. From here you can enter any keywords that might interest you. For my example I ll enter origami. I ll then click on Keyword filters and filter it so that only keywords with a competition of Low are showed, and I should have a screen that looks like this:

6 From here you will see lists of different ad group ideas these are categories that Google thinks might be related to origami. Within each category is a list of long tail keywords. So if you click on one of those lists you ll see a list of different keywords. I would pick one with a keyword volume of somewhere between 50 and 200 and that will be your first keyword that you will try to rank for! Now before you go any further you should Google this keyword yourself to see who your competition is. If you see big sites like Wikipedia, or big news sites, or any other site that looks like it is very well known you might want to think twice and try a different keyword! It is much easier to battle against ten smaller sites than it is to battle against sites like Wikipedia, CNN, or WebMD! This practice can take some trial and error to master. If you are feeling a little unsure or if you feel like you need some more guidance on keyword selection I would recommend checking out the completely free Newbie Section of Apex Forum. On that forum you can create an account and ask any question about best practices for things like keyword research, and provided you ve tried all of the steps above, you will likely receive a very helpful response from someone who has done this a million times before already. Set up your money site (What does that mean?) Now that you have picked your first keyword, you now need to create your main money site. What is a money site? It s actually pretty simple, it s just the site that you want to make you a lot of money! For this you will need to create a domain name and buy some hosting. When buying a domain name you should try as hard as possible to have at least part of your keyword in the domain name. So if your first long tail is lucky stars origami and your eventual goal is to rank for all sorts of star origami keywords you might pick a domain name like StarOrigami.com, UnusualOrigami.com, or even LuckyStarsOrigami.com. So set up that domain, get a hosting account, install WordPress, and you are ready to go! If you are unsure about any of those steps, if you use a hosting provider like HostGator they will help you get WordPress completely set up. When you set up WordPress make sure to pick a unique theme for your site so that it stands out from all the rest! Now that your blog is up and running you need to have a way to make money from that blog! Most people are already familiar with this step, but if you aren t the easiest way to monetize your site is through Google Adsense. Adsense is great because it will automatically tailor your ads around your site so you can use the same Adsense code on two completely different sites and they will both show

7 relevant ads. Google Adsense also has a WordPress plugin that lets you pick where the ads are shown on your blog make sure to show them in a prominent place where people will see them. This is how you ll be making your money after all! Now we are all done except for one thing content! Your new money site blog needs content on it! I would recommend starting with at least 4-5 high quality articles on your new site, and adding one or two more every week. If you have a couple hours you should be able to easily write 4-5 articles in that time period. However this is also an area where Article Forge can easily be used just log into Article Forge, click New Article and you are now at the place where all of the magic happens! For these high quality articles you want to make sure you keep the setting on Money Site (since that is what this is after all!) you increase the Article Length, and you turn on images. Just click Create New Article and Article Forge will create you a completely unique article. Since these articles are going to be the main articles on your site I highly recommend for each article quickly going through and making a couple small changes to each one so that each article has your own flair. This step won t be necessary for any of the other articles we create in this guide, so if you are going to spend any time making sure your articles look impeccable, these would be the articles to do them for! Phew! We now have a completely functioning money site that is ready to start making money as soon as people find it! We re now ready to set up that automation engine that will be bringing those users to this money site

8 Chapter 3: The Engine That Powers This Machine We are now going to be creating an automated private blog network which is the main engine that will be powering all of your rankings! In short these are a series of blogs that you own that will automatically behind the scenes becoming authority blogs that will link to your main blog. This chapter will deal with the basics of setting up each of these blogs so that Article Forge is ready to start working its magic! Before we get started, I wanted to talk a little bit about something very important: footprints. Footprints are things that are the same across all of your automated sites. This could be something as simple as all of your blogs having the same contact info, or all of them using the same theme, or all of them releasing their posts at the exact same time. These are bad because you want your private blog network to appear like they are ten completely unrelated websites. If Google knows that all of your blog networks are all controlled by you, their ranking power will be completely diminished. So throughout this guide I will be making suggestions that might seem unnecessary but they are very important to help make sure that your sites seem completely unaffiliated. Starting from the very beginning with domain registration So the very first thing that we need to do is get ten domain names for your blog. You can register your own, but if you do make sure that you pick several different domain providers and turn on private whois for each domain. If you need a list of providers, GoDaddy, enom, Moniker, and NameCheap are four of the largest. Services like Gandhi or NameBright might be slightly cheaper or offer higher quality but you will want a mix of the largest providers so that your sites appear like they were set up by ordinary people. You absolutely need to turn on whois protection for each one so that your contact info is different for each blog. Some more blackhat people don t do whois protection and instead just enter fake contact info, but I would recommend against this as this would risk you losing your domain names. Hosting your Private Blog Networks and your two options Now you are at the point where you need to host your private blog network. Once again you do not want to have all of your blog networks hosted on the same IP or C class, as this is a major footprint! An IP address is like an address for your site, while a C class is like an office building. It is obvious that two sites are affiliated if they share the same address, and it is very suspicious if they all share the same office building!

9 There are two schools of thought for how to avoid this issue both are very effective, although one is slightly cheaper and more convenient, while the other one is slightly safer. The first option is to work with an SEO hosting company like Arctic Hosting. Companies like this are set up specifically to combat this problem. They will give you ten IP addresses that are on completely different C classes akin to working with a company that gets you ten addresses in ten completely different office buildings. The advantages to SEO hosting is that it is much cheaper, and it is much more convenient you can still use one control panel to manage each hosting account, and each site will automatically be placed on a completely different IP address located in a completely different neighborhood. If you want to go a little more James Bond with your private blog network you have another way that is guaranteed to give you IP addresses and hosting accounts that have nothing to do with each other and that is to buy a completely different hosting account for each site in your private blog network! This can get a little pricey and time consuming, so it isn t for everyone, but there is no way to guarantee no footprints than having every single site be hosted by a completely different company. Some people also go halfway with this approach and have one completely different hosting account for every five sites. If you pick popular hosts like HostGator, BlueHost, or DreamHost you can usually slip right under the radar. The platform that runs everything WordPress! You already did this for your first site, so this should be very easy to do. Make sure you pick a completely unique theme for each blog. To make it simple I just go to the latest section on WordPress and pick a couple of the most recent themes. Similarly make sure that each blogs title and description are completely different and don t follow the same naming pattern so it looks like ten different people took their own spin on what a blog should be named. No plugins are required, but if you do install plugins for each blog make sure that not all of the blogs have all of the same plugins.

10 Chapter 4: The Article Forge Magic That Makes This All Work We now have the foundation completely set up. We have our main money site as well as our ten (or more) private blog networks. Now it is time to make those blog networks automated and start having them post automated Article Forge powered content! So the first thing you need to do is go into Article Forge and add all of your newly created WordPress blogs. Just go to the WordPress section and either add each WordPress blog manually, or bulk import them. Now you should see all of your blogs in Article Forge and ready to go! Setting up the diversion Now at this point you probably think you know what s next. We go in, and we automate posts that link to your main money site, right? Not so fast! Before we do that we first must set up the equally as important diversion posts! As mentioned before, we need to make sure that we want each site to look completely unaffiliated. If you were Google and suddenly ten blogs popped up that all only linked to the same one brand new site, wouldn t you think that was a little suspicious? I know I would, so as a result we need to set up the diversion. So what is the diversion? Go to the Create New Post Scheduler, and enter a list of at least twenty keywords that are generally related to your site. For this I would stay as general as possible. If your keyword is star origami you might want things like easy origami, origami instructions, or even just origami. The idea is to think of things that an actual origami blog would write about, not just things that relate to your very specific keyword. Now for this one, select each of your blogs and pick a rate of somewhere around 40 posts per week, which means that each blog will receive somewhere around four posts per week. So a nice general amount of posting, but nothing too crazy or out of the ordinary across a wide range of keywords that are niche related to your site. You should probably also turn on images and videos to somewhere around 40-80% each. You want your site to have some images and some videos, but you don t want them each to always have an image or video or never have an image or video. Now the next important thing you need to do is go out and find a bunch of authority sites related to your keyword. This could be things like the site ranking number one for origami or the Wikipedia page for origami or any other very important looking site that talks about origami. You should now pick several of the keywords you chose above and using the Replace Keywords with Links feature make it so that some of those keywords are replaced with links to those authority sites.

11 Doing these replacements are extremely important for several reasons. The first one is that you do not want your site to be the only site that your blogs link to. The second one is that linking to other authority sites often helps your site. If you only link to big authority sites and then you started also linking to your money site that will help imply that your site belongs in that group. If you went out to dinner with Barack Obama and Bill Gates, wouldn t people think that you were probably also someone pretty important? It works the same way with linking! Now the part that you actually care about Now that you have automated links going to these other sites, it is time to do what you really care about set up those links to your main money site! For this scheduler just add in the keywords that you really care about. This number could be just one, but you might want to add 5-10 additional permutations of your main keyword to give it a little more variance. Now go in and make all of your other settings the exact same as before including all of the Replace Keywords with Links options! We don t want these posts from this scheduler to seem any different so they should still link out to all of those other authority sites. However at the end we will also add our own site for the main keyword we are trying to rank for. That way for these posts if there is a link to your money site for your main keyword it won t stick out like a sore thumb it ll look like one of many links to different authority sites! As an optional step you might also want to add a link replacement for generic keywords like this site or this page that link to your main blog. That way you will get some anchor text diversity and it will make the article seem like it is talking specifically about your site. And that s it! You now have a series of auto blogs that will be automatically writing content and linking to a large number of authority sites, including your own! And now that it is set up it will all be happening completely on auto pilot!

12 Chapter 5: Turn Those Autoblogs into Ranking Tanks Everything is now set up, and you could stop here. You have an automated group of sites that are linking to your main site completely on autopilot. However there is still one big thing we want to do to make sure that we are making the most out of our blogs. Before I get into what that is, I want to discuss a very well-known SEO tactic Linking tiers! You may have heard of these already, but if you haven t I ll give you a quick introduction. All link building involves multiple layers, or tiers. Right now we have our main site, and our first tier of links, our automated private blog network. However, right now there is a small issue: no sites are linking to these blogs! For true high powered rankings we want to do something called tiered link building. With tiered link building, there are multiple layers of links, with your main money site being at the top, your Tier 1 links being below that, and your Tier 2 and/or Tier 3 links below that. In the above image you see that we have one main site (your money site), with a small number of websites (called your Tier 1 websites) that link directly to your money site. In this case your Tier 1 links are the automated private blog network you just created. We then want a large amount of (slightly lower quality) Tier 2 links that point to your Tier 1 links. The reason we do these tiers instead of just pointing all of these links to your main money site, is that creating thousands of automated links carries some risk. So instead of pointing those slightly riskier (Tier 2) links to your main money site, you instead are pointing those links to your Tier 1 blogs. That way if Google ever decides it doesn t like those Tier 2 links, only your Tier 1 blog will be impacted, and your main money site will stay completely safe! It s much easier to replace an automated blog than it is to replace your entire website, so your automated blog network you are creating not only gives you incredible rankings, but also acts as a buffer for your main money site.

13 So how do you build all of links to your automated blog network? There are a million tools you can use, but one I would strongly recommend is GSA Search Engine Ranker. It is an incredibly high powered tool that lets you automatically create thousands of links, and it even integrates directly with Article Forge so that Article Forge will automatically write all of the content that GSA uses to build links. So all you have to do is buy GSA Ser, and have it build its thousands of links to each of your ten blogs that you created. So now you ll have it so that both your Tier 1 and Tier 2 links are completely automated, powered entirely by Article Forge content! Pro tip: When using Article Forge with GSA Ser you should spin your Article Forge articles. Spinning lets you take one article and create thousands of different variations of the same article which lets you take one article and use it for thousands of different Tier 2 links. For this process we highly recommend using WordAi as your spinner. Not only is it built by the same team that made Article Forge (us!) but it will also make sure that each of your different article variations all make sense and look like they were each written by a human being!

14 Chapter 6: You re now Done, But Why Stop Here? Congratulations! You have made it through this guide, and you are now well on your way to an automated private blog network that can help provide you incredible rankings for all of your sites in the future! So after all of this hard work you can finally relax a bit! Why relax, when you can grow? Although you can certainly relax a little bit, there is something else you should also be doing, and that is growing! The most successful SEOers are always building new things. As soon as they have one automated system working they go in and create another. So once your first site is ranking, possibly create another site in that same niche, and before you know it you may even create one very broad and big authority site in your niche! All of your rankings are being handled automatically, but you still have the power to create more sites and more private blog networks, which helps make you more money! It is automated, but even the best machines need an occasional tune up If you drive a car, that means you use a machine to transport you around. This saves you hours each and every day and lets you do things that would be impossible if you had to walk everywhere. However you still need to make sure the oil is changed and it is filled up with gas! It s no different with private blog networks. Even though your work is done, you should always be checking in every now and then to make sure things are running smoothly. For instance, you want to make sure your sites are not running on empty by making sure that they are continuing to get indexed. The entire process of checking to see if each private blog network is indexing simply involves Googling the title of a couple posts and seeing if they are showing up in Google and only needs to be done once a month. In the event that a private blog network is no longer indexing, do not fear. Simply remove that site from your Article Forge bulk scheduler, and create a new blog (falling all of the tips in Chapter 3). The most important thing is to not panic. The whole point of these private blog networks is so that they filter all of the Tier 2 links so there is always some risk. So just remove a blog anytime this happens and you will keep your main sites safe! One final disclosure This guide is called Creating an Automated Empire in Under One Hour, and it is true that the automated systems that will be building your empire can be created in under an hour. However, just as Rome wasn t built in a day, just because the foundation for your automated empire is built doesn t mean that

15 you will have instant or permanent rankings. This system you are building will continue to work on autopilot to grow and improve your site, but you have to be patient while it works its magic, and while Google responds to it! If you have the right combination of skill and luck you can get rankings as quickly as your first week, but you should expect to spend at least a month before achieving real substantial rankings. Even the best SEOers need weeks or months of work (whether automated work or manual work!) to achieve long lasting rankings. So while you are waiting, start back at Chapter 2 and build another site so that before you know it you ll have several different sites all ranking for different keywords! That s all folks!
