1 Competitor Information XTERRA Off-Road Duathlon Hedeland 22 nd of March Welcome to this winters toughest challenge Schedule: 09.00: Courses and race venue opens 09.00: Registration and BIB handout starts (registration on raceday is possible, at a fee of 25,-) 09.45: Mandatory Race Briefing 10.00: Race Start 12.30: Race Ending (when last athlete has finished) 12.45: Price-Ceremony 13.00: Race-Area Closes Practical information: At registration you will receive the following items: 2 personal BIB-numbers (one for running and one for MTB) Safetypins 1 personal timing chip A velcro-strap for the chip Strips for BIB-mounting on your bike Be sure to check that you have received all of these items, and request them if not handed to you. Important: If you are registered the whole series (3 races), you will have blue BIB-numbers, and you have to retain and reuse your 2 BIBnumbers in all the races. If you are registered 1 og 2 races, you will have a red BIB-number. You must wear your running-bib on the front of your body (with safety-pins), during the 2 run-courses. The MTB-BIB must be placed on the front of the handlebar, on your MTB (there will be strips in your start-package, for mounting). Cutting numbers or altering with sponsor stickers is not allowed.

2 The timing-chip must be securely attached to your ankle, during the whole race use the included velcro-strap. The chip shall be returned to the officials, when you have crossed the finish line. In case of missing chip, a fee of kr. 50,- will be charged. Parking: Parking is possible next to the event area. The address is Vindingevej 201, 4000 Roskilde. GPS-coordinates for the race venue (55 36'53.4"N 12 09'29.6"E). Toilets, changing rooms and luggage: Toilets and changing rooms are available right next to the event area. A tent will be provided for changing clothes and storing luggage (at your own risk). Equipment: Only mountain bikes are legal for competition. Cyclo-cross bikes etc. are not allowed. Helmets must be worn during the entire MTB-course. Running-spikes are not allowed. Course: The courses are unique and it is of great importance for us, that we can present a tough and yet exciting race. We have made these courses, requiring special authorization to race; the courses will therefor only be made public to a limited extent, in this competitor information. Transition zone: It is forbidden to ride your bike in the transition zone. You must have your helmet on and buckled before leaving transition, and you must have your helmet on and buckled when you return to transition. Bicycles must be securely placed on the bike rack not left on the ground Bicycles must be returned to the same location on the bike rack (see the yellow numbers on the bike racks). Drink-station: During the race there will be a drink-station where you leave the transition zone to the running course, among with energy-drink from GU and water. After the race, there will be provided hot coffee from Segafredo, hot chocolate among with sandwiches and fruit. There will also be skyr with müsli for all contestants, after the race. In the other drinks. bar, you can refresh yourself with lemonade soda and

3 Merchandise: There will be an XTERRA Nordic merchandise popup-store on the venue. The shop offers a unique range of XTERRA Nordic merchandise, with triathlon tights and tops, MTB pants and jerseys, jackets, hoodies and t- shirts. The shop accepts credit cards and Mobile Pay. Check out the products here: Prizes and sponsors: There will be a prize for number 1, 2 & 3 man and woman. Two of the brand new Shimano Sport Cameras will be in the prize-draw. There will be Lemonaid-prizes for chosen rankings in the race. Some cool bike headlights will also be in the prize-draw. ECCO provides a gift card for their biggest store in Copenhagen, for the prize draw. GAIA Sport will provide a lot of energy-products from GU and Bonk Breaker for the prize-draw. Løberen also provides a bunch of there cool products, for the prize draw.
