Circolo Sportivo Adria Gorizia Triathlon welcomes you to Let sgotriathlon Grado with the 17 Olimpic Triathlon Isola del Sole that will take place on Saturday, 5 th Setpember, the 2 Aquathlon Grado on Friday, 4 th Setpember 2015 and finally the 1 Orienteering Grado-O on Sunday, 6 th Setpember. The purpose of this document is to provide for all Athletes a set of information about race competitions and collateral events. 2. LOGISTIC Parco delle Rose located in Dante Alighieri Street, Grado (Italy). Athletes should use the Parking Areas identified in the below map and should visibly display inside the vehicle the Parking Pass. The Parking Pass is enclosed at the end of the present document or downloadable on 1

You can participate as a single or as a relay. Italian Athletes should have a valid F.I.TRI license, other Athletes should have a valid license issued by their National Federation (ITU compliance) For Kids race you have to be from 8 to13 years old: Cuccioli (8-9 years old), Esordienti (10-11 years old), Ragazzi (12-13 years old) Athletes who do NOT have a valid license can require a Day Pass. The Day Pass has a cost of 8 or 5 for young Athletes between 8 and 17 years old. Anyway, Athletes must present a medical statement that attest they enjoy perfect health and are suitable for sporting activities, especially triathlon. Foreign Athletes should have a valid license issued by their National Federation (ITU compliance) Categories admitted: Junior m/w , Senior m/w , Master m/w 1975 Athletes who do NOT have a valid license can require a Day Pass F.I.TRI and must present an Italian medical statement that attest they enjoy perfect health and are suitable for sporting activities, especially triathlon (F.I.TRI Rule. 8.4 about daily pass). Registration Early closing at 600 Athletes or by 26 th August 2015 at PM 15 for Junior 50 Senior/Master 35 Senior/Master by 30 th June 2015 at PM and reserved to Finishers in at least one of the last three editions ( ) 40 Senior/Master by 30 th June 2015 at PM 45 Senior/Master by 17 th August 2015 at PM Withdrawals for non-participation that will be noticed within the 16 th August 2015 will be eligible to receive a refund of the 50% of the entry fee already paid. After this date no entry fee will be refunded under the F.I.TRI. Rules and Regulations. The registration cannot be transferred to a further Athlete. 4 Timing service The electronic collection of final rankings will be carried out by SDAM. The timing chip must be returned at the check-out after the race. Briefing In the Ceremony Area next the Transition Area. Course Swim: mt 1500, in the See following a single rectangle clockwise path (n. 3 yellow buoys and n. 1 red buoy) Bike: km. 38, single flat lap Run: km. 10, 2 laps with three refreshments after km. 3, km 5 and Km. 8 Transition Area 11:30 AM: Bike Check-In open 12:30 AM: Bike Check-In close 5:30 PM: Bike Check - Out (last call) Start 1:00 PM: 1 Men wave 1:10 PM: 2 Women wave 1.20 PM 3 men wave 1.30 PM 4 men wave Water temperature Swim segment will take place on the Adriatic See in front of Parco delle Rose (Transition Area). Race Referees will inform Athletes about the wetsuit option only the day of the race. During the previous edition the wetsuit was permitted (wetsuit is prohibited if the water temperature is higher than 22 degrees C and mandatory if the water temperature is lower than 14 degrees C) No-draft Rule During the bike segment Draftig is brohibited, according to the Rule 99 of F.I.TRI Rules and Regulations. Drafting means to enter the draft zone of another Athlete or any vehicle. The bicycle draft zone is 7 meters long and 2 meters large. A maximum of 20 seconds will be allowed to pass through the draft zone of another athlete. Athletes violating Drafting rules will be notified on the spot by a Race Referee with: 1 notification 2 Minutes Time Penalty (Penalty Box) 2 notification Disqualification All bike Time Penalties will be served in a designated Penalty Box, where Race Referees will report the numbers of Athletes involved. Anyway, it is the Athlete s responsibility to stop to the Penalty Box on the course and failure to stop will result in disqualification. Race Official could exempt section of the course for safety reasons (i.e. see Map Course Ciclabile, Bike Path, 4,5 km ). Cut-off Time For safety reason the cut-off times to complete the three segments are: Swim: 55 min Bike: 2h 30 min measured from the starting of the swim wave Run: 3h 30 min measured from the starting of the swim wave Final Refreshment Starting from 3:30 PM for all Athletes Award Ceremony Award Ceremony will take place at 5:00 PM Awards and Price Money The first 10 men and 10 women in the absolute category will share a Price Money of Moreover, the first three ranked of each male and female category (Age Group) will receive special awards.
