2 Creative Summer Schemes Ards Arts Summer Scheme Venue: Ards Arts Centre Date: Monday 20th to Friday 24th July Time: 10am to 4pm Ages: 6 to 10 years & 11 to 14 years Price: 90 Ards Arts Centre is running a creative arts summer scheme every day from 10am until 4pm, meaning that you get a full week jam-packed with fun, creative activities! Each day will be broken up into several different workshops combining art, pottery and drama so that each child gets the opportunity to learn and develop skills with different tutors in a range of activities. At the end of the busy week children will perform a small show for parents and will also have several amazing art creations to bring home. The week is designed to be fun and friendly with a relaxed atmosphere, ensuring that every child gets a unique, inspiring and enjoyable experience. Participants will be supervised by an adult at all times, with additional activities provided during breaks. Participants will be required to bring in their own pack lunch and a snack for morning break. Donaghadee Arts Summer Scheme Venue: Donaghadee Community Centre Date: Monday 10th to Friday 14th August Time: 1pm to 3pm Ages: 6 to 12 years Price: 35 Taking inspiration from the seaside around Donaghadee these arts workshops will develop skills in art and sculpture to create wonderful creatures of the sea. Comber Arts Summer Scheme Venue: Comber Leisure Centre Date: Monday 17th to Friday 21st August Time: 1pm to 3pm Ages: 6 to 12 years Price: 35 These fun arts based workshops will include various different types of art activities, ensuring that each child gets the opportunity to learn and develop a range of creative skills. Holywood Arts Summer Scheme Venue: Holywood Old School, Church Road, Holywood Date: Monday 17th to Friday 21st August Time: 10am to 12pm Ages: 6 to 12 years Price: 35 Ards and North Down Arts is delighted to be offering its first arts summer scheme in Holywood. Over the week, children will be introduced to a range of art activities and will have some wonderful creative pieces to take home. Comber Leisure Centre 15th July to 21st August Mini Scheme - For 4 to 7 years 9.30am to 12.30pm / 1.30pm to 4.30pm weeks of: 27th July, 3rd & 10th August Activities include: Whacky Whizz-Ards, Multi Skills, Arts & Crafts, Friday Paddling Pool & Movie Time. Children may be divided into two age groups for some activities. Siblings or friends wishing to stay together may do so. Junior Scheme - For 8 to 14 years Three age groups, each with their own group leader. All Day Option: 9.30am to 4.30pm including lunch Half Day Option: 9.30am to 12.30pm or 1.30pm to 4.30pm Daily Activities include: Trampolining, Swimming, Football, Badminton, Basketball & Table Tennis Weekly Activities include: Kayaking, Archery, Tag Rugby, Tennis & Rounders Weekly activities do not run every week or every day. Scheme Cost All schemes are sold on a weekly basis and must be pre-booked. Customers are advised to check availability before setting out as Dino s can be booked for parties. 1 Junior Activities for 8 to 15 year olds Enjoy football, tennis or any other activity outdoors for just 1 per person per hour from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Please note that these 1 Junior activities are not part of a structured scheme and therefore not supervised by staff.
