Lend Lease (US) Public Partnerships partners with institutional owners to create value and deliver exceptional returns, excelling in the development of large, complex projects. Our goal is to surpass expected financial outcomes for all stakeholders, and add further long-term value by creating developments that will continue operations for a minimum of 0 years. In partnership with the Department of Defense through the Military Housing Privatization Initiative (MHPI), we ve created more than 0,000 residential units, including Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH) apartments, as well as nearly 8,00 hotel rooms through the Privatization of Army Lodging (PAL) program. We became a leader in planning, designing, building, and managing residential communities for Military personnel, not just by adhering to sound business practices, but also by embracing innovation every step of the way. A Holistic Approach A Lend Lease community addresses social, economic, and environmental concerns together. Island Palm in Hawaii participated as a pilot project for the U.S. Green Building Council s (USGBC S) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Neighborhood Development program (LEED-ND), recognizing a demand for quality housing that is in close proximity to work, while also providing access to a range of residential amenities needed by Military Families. The Lend Lease (US) Community Fund, a Lend Lease Public Partnerships 01c nonprofit, strengthens and supports diversity and encourages the bond between people and their communities by supporting local causes including: the renovation of a behavioral health clinic for returning Soldiers and major sponsorship of the Wounded Warrior Organization. We set a goal to achieve 8 percent use of small and local businesses at each of our projects, and we consistently exceed this goal.
