2 Fort Worth, Texas Oncor Electric Delivery will pay incentives of up to 80% of capital costs for qualifying projects! Oncor Electric Delivery has assigned an incentive budget for the of approximately $9.3 million for the 2010 year. Qualifying customers may receive up to 20% of 2010 budget. Oncor Electric Delivery Commercial Standard Offer Type: Rebate Link: The Commercial Standard Offer seeks to procure energy and peak demand savings through the installation and operation of energy efficiency measures at commercial customer sites. This program is designed to help businesses receive incentives for implementing and installing a wide range of energy- saving measures at customer sites. These measures must have the potential to achieve a total of at least 20 kw of demand reduction during the summer peak period of June through September, or at least 100,000 kwh annual savings. Projects are paid on the basis of peak demand and energy savings. Eligible Projects include, but are not limited to: Constant Air Volume (CAV) to Variable Air Volume (VAV) conversion, chiller replacement, HVAC - packaged cooling unit replacement, fan and pump motor efficiency upgrades, (VSD) installations, thermal storage, high- efficiency lighting, lighting controls to reduce operating hours (in conjunction with lighting efficiency measures only), CFLs with hard- wired ballasts, air cooling and refrigeration compressor replacement, and motor- efficiency upgrades. Project sponsors are required to sign a standard contract with Oncor that includes an estimate of how many kwh's reduction the project will achieve, once the measures are installed and the savings are verified, the project sponsor receives incentive payments based on the project's savings. Highlight: Rebates offered for both retrofit and new construction projects. Because of the incentive structure ($/kw + $/kwh), a wide variety of custom projects may be eligible. This program has a budget of approximately $9.3 million. 2

3 Oncor Electric Delivery Small Commercial Type: Service- Provider Incentives Link: This program is designed to encourage private- sector delivery of energy efficiency products and services. To achieve this, incentives under this program are paid to service providers, which may include energy service companies, retail electric providers, HVAC contractors, lighting companies and other energy conservation firms or commercial customers. Oncor has assigned an incentive budget for the of approximately $640,000 for the 2011 year. Oncor s 2011 program objectives are: To make energy efficiency incentive programs available to all commercial customers. Stimulate investment in and implementation of efficient technologies most likely to reduce Oncor's summer peak demand. Minimize the burden of measurement and verification (M & V) requirements associated with Standard Offer s by offering deemed or simple savings calculations for many measures. To ensure that incentives are available to multiple Service Providers, no Service Provider or its Affiliates may receive more than the lesser of $128,000 or twenty percent (20%) of the incentive budget in a given budget year. Highlight: Rebates offered for both retrofit and new construction projects. This program is geared towards small commercial customers, who may not have the resources to calculate energy savings or design efficient systems. The only requirements of the Host Customer are financial commitment to the installation of the measure, and access to the facility for pre- and post- inspections. Oncor Electric Delivery Commercial Load Management Type: Rebate Link: This program also pays incentives to service providers to encourage load curtailment at facilities with proposed demand savings of over 100kW. A single project may involve identifying "Curtailable Load" at more than one customer facility as long as the facilities are reported using a single Interval Data Recorder (IDR) that is monitored by Oncor. Project sponsors must commit to making the "Curtailable Load" available for one peak season. "Curtailable Load" must produce savings through an interruption of electrical consumption during the summer peak demand period. 3

4 Oncor's Commercial Load Management provides standard incentive prices for demand savings for each program year. To ensure that incentives are available to multiple service providers, no service provider may reserve nor receive more than an aggregate total of 25% of the Load Management incentive budget in a budget year. Entergy Texas business energy savings program Type: Rebate/Technical Assistance Link: texas.com/your_business/energy_efficiency/ci_overview. aspx Entergy Texas, Inc. offers Business Energy Saving s to business customers. These offer cash and non- cash incentives for making energy efficiency improvements in These incentives are available for projects completed at new sites as well as updates to an existing building or business location. The Business Energy Saving s provide the following: Help with identifying, evaluating and starting energy efficiency improvements. Providing some aspects of program management for the project. Help in understanding the energy savings that will result from the improvements. Help in receiving Entergy Texas, Inc. incentives to assist in making the project a reality. Help in communicating the energy efficiency project and environmental leadership to the local community, if desired. Cash incentives are available ($175 per kw and $0.05 per kwh) for new construction project and also equipment changes / renovations. incentives are limited and are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. 4

5 ENTERGY TEXAS 2011 Business Solar Photovoltaic s Type: Rebate/Technical Assistance Link: texas.com/your_business/energy_efficiency/business_solar.aspx Entergy s Solar PhotoVoltaic (PV) is available to help businesses meet a portion of their energy needs with solar electric systems. The program offers incentives to help decrease the upfront cost of installing solar systems. By installing solar systems, businesses can generate a portion of their own electricity, help the environment and possibly lower energy bills. The Business Solar program offers $1.75/watt for business installations for qualifying projects. The incentive is limited to the first 50 kwh s of solar installations. The program opened for incentive sign- ups on January 3, Xcel Energy - Commercial and Industrial Standard Offer Type: Rebate/Technical Assistance Link: Xcel Energy Large Commercial and Industrial Standard Offer (SOP) pays incentives to businesses for retrofit and new construction projects that save energy in peak summer demand periods and are located within Xcel's service territory. Payments to Project Sponsors will be based solely on kw and kwh savings. Any entity that installs eligible energy efficient measures at a facility with electric service provided by Xcel and has a maximum demand of more than 100 kw or a maximum aggregate demand equal to or greater than 250 kw is eligible to participate in the program as a Project Sponsor. A small commercial customer shall mean less than 100kw or maximum aggregate less than 250 kw. The project must be implemented at a facility that is operated by an Xcel customer. This "host customer" must be willing to commit to the project, enter an agreement with the Project Sponsor, and provide access to the facility for inspection. Incentives are paid for both energy and demand savings. Project Sponsors are required to meet minimum eligibility criteria and sign a standard agreement with Xcel, which includes an estimate of how many kw and kwh the project will save and the associated incentive payment amount.
