The meetings were very useful in order for us to get a clearer picture about the profession in the world. We are thankful to the IAA for providing us the opportunity to take part in the meetings in Zurich by covering the travel costs. Due to our size and lack of funds we are not able to attend regularly the IAA meetings, however this was a fantastic opportunity to get to know the latest developments in the education syllabus and standards, network with the associations from the region and exchange ideas about possible future joint initiatives. 3 The overall organization was great. It would have been nice to have a bit more time between the end of the professionalism session and the bus departure for the dinner at Swiss Re. 10 The small portions, tapa-like formula, for lunch was very convenient. It is a pity that the venue in Zurich was not more picturesque but the transport was quite simple once we learned how to use it. 14 It's difficult for people to participate by conference phone, given the nature of most of these meetings. I wonder if it would be worth trying holding a telephone conference in advance of the main meeting where people not able to attend could provide input to the chair (or other officer) of the committee 15 Some meetings(life section on Friday, April 10) were listed as general but chairperson thought that the meeting is for members only. Although they extended curtsy but I would have rather known in advance to plan otherwise. 16 In the whole the meeting was organized very well. Also, I (and others also commented on this to me) thought the stand-up lunches worked out really well, even though they were Plan B.
