1 2013/2014 UCAM MASTER IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) OFFICIAL TITLE (60 ECTS) The Master in Business Administration is aimed at international and Spanish graduate students to acquire advanced knowledge in business administration, assessment and advice, management and strategy, and the ability to implement them when developing administration capacity. The training program contains subjects taught in other similar courses to be able to treat those in ways businesses are faced with every day. Professionally, this programme is aimed at providing the student with the knowledge, techniques and abilities that companies demand to offer a global vision of integration for all functional areas. The MBA includes a work placement practicum in a real company of at least 150 hours. In addition, UCAM Business students will be offered to attend conferences and seminars where leading experts will present about real experiences, through which students will find both sides of business, practice and academia, as well as hopefully good networking opportunities! 2 MESSAGE FROM THE MBA DIRECTOR Welcome to the Full Time MBA 2014 class! I personally want to thank you for the trust you put in the UCAM Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia and in our program. UCAM is the place for those students who want to lead the next generations based on their acquired knowledge, experience and human quality. It is coherent to include in our broad academic offer a Master Degree in Business Administration taught in English: with this curriculum, UCAM manages to deliver a high quality training program in accordance with our values and objectives, welcoming students from all over the world. The MBA here presented was structured to offer a solid formation in business administration to graduates from other fields of expertise law, communication, engineering, the arts, health, among other industries who want to develop their professional careers in any enterprise. After UCAM s Full Time MBA you will be ready to be entrepreneur, executive director, accountant, economist, project administrator, human resources expert or any other managerial position. To achieve this goal, the teaching faculty is composed by both academic lecturers and company executives who will help you developing your own knowledge and skills. With a total of 60 ECTS credits, the MBA is an Official Master Program with recognition in all European Higher Education Area giving access to any PhD program. The 360 hours of lectures are complemented with a minimum of 150 hours of internship in a company and 990 hours of practical work individual or in group. Moreover, the students should dedicate 1.5 hours a day, from April, to work on their Master s Project which they will present and defend in September. The curriculum demands a high level of commitment, effort and organization of the daily work, in order to get our students ready to achieve their life goals. OP 15 2 PRACTICAL MODULE (September to november) 15 ECTS BUSINESS INTERNSHIPS The internships are aimed at completing the training of university graduates as well as facilitating their access to the professional world and it is, at the institutional level, governed by the Spanish Royal Decree , as well as by regulations published by the Catholic University of San Antonio for practice in enterprises for students of the University.
