Uninterruptible Power Supplies Division provides support for our customers to ensure that the investments they have made in their mission-critical solutions will produce optimal results. Our factory authorized service technicians provide startup services, perform planned maintenance, monitor and diagnose problems and respond to emergencies 24x7x365 days a year. We have more than 200 service technicians throughout North America to respond to any UPS service issue within four hours or less at sites located within 100 miles of a service office. 3 World-Class Service and Support Mitsubishi Electric Service and Support provides a comprehensive solutions approach for installation, startup, and optimal performance of your UPS equipment on-site. Startup / Installation Services Mitsubishi Electric Power Products UPS Division provides the following services for UPS equipment on site by our factory certified staff : Confirmation of the manufacturer s warranty upon startup of the UPS system by an Authorized Service Provider On-site testing performed to the customer s specifications or to Mitsubishi Electric s standard test procedures Load bank testing, UPS burn in, battery run-down or capacity tests Periodic Maintenance and Warranty The Mitsubishi Electric Power Products UPS division offers a comprehensive package of maintenance programs designed to enhance system reliability and performance over the lifetime of the equipment. The three levels of service are designed to meet the individual needs of each customer. Service Agreements: Bronze Plan* The Bronze Plan is designed to provide minimum required maintenance. This plan provides regularly scheduled maintenance visits for the term of the contract during normal business hours (M-F 8 A.M. to 5 P.M.). The standard maintenance schedule includes one (1) visit on the UPS module and two (2) visits on the battery system. Additional visits can be added if necessary, at an additional cost. Remedial (repair) services (parts and labor) are available at a discount. The Bronze Plan is the most suitable during the UPS warranty period. 3 Mitsubishi Electric Uninterruptible Power Supplies

4 Silver Plan* The Silver Plan includes the periodic maintenance services of the Bronze Plan, as well as the addition of remedial service (repair, service, parts and labor) during normal work hours. Gold Plan* The Gold Plan is designed to provide the highest level of remedial and periodic maintenance coverage of the UPS system. This plan includes the benefits of the Bronze and Silver Plans with the addition of 7x24x365 remedial service (including all parts and labor). *Replacement batteries and labor are not included. These services are available at an additional charge on a time and material or quote basis. Thermographic Imaging Mitsubishi Electric uses only stateof-the-art imaging equipment that takes both digital as well as thermal images. Both types of imaging are included in a detailed report that identifies problem areas as well as suggested corrective actions. Factory and On-site Testing Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. has one of the most advanced and modern factory test facilities in the industry, located at our Warrendale, Pennsylvania headquarters. At this site, we can accommodate our customers requirements for factory testing, equipment demonstrations, and specification performance testing. Additionally, we provide on-site specification and performance testing, which includes, but is not limited to: Battery run down Battery capacity testing Load bank testing - Mitsubishi Electric can provide on-site load bank rentals from 10kW to 50MW, including cables and delivery. Call for a quote. UPS Training Programs Mitsubishi Electric offers both standardized and customized training programs to meet specific requirements of customers. UPS systems may be protecting any number of mission critical systems, including computers, data centers, telecommunication The importance of inspecting connections as well as measuring internal temperature is paramount when maintaining a system. Thermal imaging provides a baseline for future comparative analysis, and identifies potential problem areas. On-site, cost-free, operational training is provided at the completion of the UPS equipment start-up. The training covers the basic operation of the UPS system such as start-up, shutdown, emergency shutdown, among many other important functions. Factory training is provided at our modern headquarters facility which houses all models of Mitsubishi UPS products currently in production. Factory standard training courses include operational training, first responder training for limited service, as well as custom training programs. Class design focuses on combining theory, product familiarity, safe operation, hands- on application, and applied learning. Emergency Services In the unlikely event your Mitsubishi UPS requires emergency service, 7x24x365 customer and technical support is only a phone call away (724) or (800) Mitsubishi Electric s service support teams are factory and field trained on all models of Mitsubishi UPS products and have extensive field installation experience. It is likely we already know the problem and have corrective solutions, even before a technician is dispatched. Our primary focus is to restore your UPS as quickly as possible. All calls are received directly to our technical support desk M-F, 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. After hours calls are assigned to on call service engineers. Emergency service dispatch is available 7x24x365. We have more than 200 certified service technicians throughout North America to respond to your service emergency in 4 hours or less within 100 miles of a service office.
