4 ITALY DMC - BUS OPERATOR USEFUL INFORMATIONS PRICE CONDITIONS AND FREE POLICY The prices in Euro are net Itermar, per day, VAT included and they are applied for a minimum of 20 participants. They include a free person every 25 paying people (in double room for adults groups and in multiple room for students), including the bus drivers. They do not include tap water in carafe, beverages/drinks, extras and anything not expressly stated. Breakfast, if not otherwise expressed, is usually a continental buffet. In Italy a continental breakfast includes: hot beverages, bread, butter and marmalade. The students prices will be applied to primary school, lower and upper secondary school students, on school trips. The prices of the services (hotel, restaurants, transfer, excursions, guides) can vary as a result of the price rise of alimentary products, fuel, VAT and other factors that were not present at the publication of the catalogue. EXTRAS Extras are requested only in case of one overnight stay and the costs will be communicated when the offer is made. Supplements for single and double rooms are expressed in the hoteltables and packages per person and per night. THE NEW EU DRIVING REGULATION Itermar has followed the progress about the new EU driving regulation, with new rules on driving times, breaks and rest periods for drivers engaged in the carriage of goods and passengers by road, to improve working conditions and road safety. For more detailed information about this regulation and how it will affect your tours, please contact us. BOOKING We are able to confirm immediately on the phone if there are any vacant rooms or to propose possible options: our staff will remind you (per or per fax) when the offers expire. The confirmation or the possible change in a booking must be sent in writing. BOOKING RIGHTS The booking of single services in Italy and Europe that are not included in the hotel reservation, such as: - meals at the restaurant - transfer and excursions by bus or by boat/ferry - guide and tour leader services Following rights will be charged: 25 for services in Italy and 35 for services in Europe, 50 for only flight reservation. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS All travel documents, including the vouchers for all services included in the price of the tour/ package, will be sent to the client as soon as payment in full has been received. The client is responsible for ensuring that all passengers are in posession of a valid passport /european identity card valid for travel abroad. ACCOMODATION AND NAMELIST A complete list of the full names of all passengers with date and place of birth, indicating number of rooms and/ or cabins to be shared, must reach our office at the latest 4 weeks before the commencement of the tour. For students groups: students will sleep in multiple rooms, teachers will stay in double or single rooms. In the second case a supplement can be requested and it will be communicated at the moment of the offer according to availability. For adults groups: accomodation in double rooms or single rooms according to availability. To make the check-in easier, it is very important to have a complete list of the participants with their names, place and date of birth, address and ID s number. For students groups the list must be written using school headed notepaper. CAUTION MONEY For students groups caution money is normally asked at the arrival at the hotel and will usually be given back at the time of departure, upon check of possible damages. We suggest therefore to verify the condition of the rooms with the hotel staff at the arrival to avoid misunderstandings. It is also recommended to communicate any preexisting damages to avoid controversies. The caution money can also be deducted in case of loud noise or wrong behaviour that damages the hotel keeper and/or the other guests. Itermar declines all responsabilities for any damages. GROUPS ASSISTANCE Itermar guarantees the availability of one of our operators for any needs. More details about phone numbers and office hours will be indicated on the travel documents. MEALS Our meals proposals include different kinds of menus:**bis of first courses includes two half portions of a first course, usually served in the same plate. MEAL TIMES At the restaurants and the hotels lunch is usually served between 12 and and dinner between 19 and if not otherwise expressed on the booking voucher and/ or dependent upon unforeseen changes. It is really important to respect mealtime to obtain a better service. In case of delay or unforeseen problems, immediately contact the direction of the restaurant or of the hotel at the phone number on the voucher. NO SHOW Some restaurants or hotels could calculate a penalty of 100 % of the costs of the services in case of no show or last minute cancellations. WHAT GROUP LEADERS MUST DO.. -Check and, if necessary, correct the number of participants indicated on the voucher and, at the same time, countersign it with the service provider. The number will be considered the basis of the invoicing and cannot be changed. -Any changes in the services must be previously arranged with Itermar, indicated on the voucher and countersigned by both the group leader and the provider.
