Important Notice To Students Applying For 2016 Summer Classes (7/26-8/23, Every Tuesday 7pm - 9pm). 1 As always, students must register online and pay the non-refundable registration fee ($40)* ASAP. Only the above stated capacity of students will be accepted. Acceptance is on a "first come, first served" basis for PAID students. We suggest you register and PAY immediately, as any registered but unpaid students will NOT be accepted once the capacity of paid students has been reached. 2 No textbook required (Handouts will be provided). 3 Classes may be canceled if enrollment is not at least 60% of capacity. 4 Teacher assignments may be subject to change due to other circumstances.

Class Information 2016 Class Information Summer Classes 1 Introductory Korean Objectives We will focus on conversation practice structured around greetings, key phrases, and substitution drills while continuing to work on building speed and accuracy in reading. Students must have basic Korean reading skills (including diphthongs and consonant endings) in order to take this class. 2 Basic Korean A This course is designed for students to practice basic Korean sentence structures and to learn to communicate on a variety of daily topics such as greetings, locations, daily activities, and so on. 3 Basic Korean B This 5-week course will provide students with a solid basic foundation in Korean. This course offers a balanced emphasis on Korean sentence structures through substitution drills and communicative activities. A majority of class activities are pair or group work, along with student-teacher interaction. 4 Intermediate Korean A Students will be reviewing grammar and vocabulary covered in Intermediate class A; Exercising communicative skills; Previewing some materials of Intermediate class B 5 Intermediate Korean B Students will be able to practice intermediate Korean sentence structures and to learn to communicate on a variety of daily topics such as ordering food, hobbies, weather, travel, etc. 6 Advanced Korean Students will be improving communicative skills; learning complex grammatical patterns & varieties of speech styles
