Pipe is made from a virgin PVC compound with a cell classification of B; the established hydrostaticdesign-basis (HDB) rating is 4,000 psi at 73.4 F. (23 C). The Standard Thermoplastic Pipe Material Designation Code is PVC Physical dimensions and tolerances SDR 21 and SDR 26 Gasket and Solvent Weld pipe, manufactured by Texas United Pipe, Inc., are within the requirements of ASTM Standard D-2241 and NSF International Standards 14/61 for Physical Testing requirements to ASTM standards. White is the standard color. GASKETS AND LUBRICANTS - Rieber Gaskets and Lubricants are compatible with the plastic material in Texas United Pipe, Inc., pipe and in combination with them will not adversely affect the potable qualities of the water. All Texas United Pipe, Inc., rieber gaskets in bell-end pipe are factory installed and have a steel reinforcing ring. (Locked-in) SDR 21 and SDR 26 pipe, are marked as prescribed in ASTM Standard D-2241 i.e. Nominal pipe size, type of plastic pipe material, pipe dimension ratio, pressure rating, ASTM specification designation number, manufacturers' name and code, and the NSF International seal for potable water. IN-PLANT TESTING - Per ASTM D-2241: 1. Pipe shall be homogeneous throughout and free from visible cracks, holes, foreign inclusions, and other defects. 2.
