2 In joyful ambience we will be celebrating our recovery and 25 years of NA in Poland. So give time some time and come! Our Convention is a joyful celebration of recovery from addiction. It gives the opportunity to meet all recovering addicts, builds unity and strengthens the bond between the four districts of the Polish Region. We hope that all recovering addicts will feel this unity and that those who still seek to recover will realize that they are not alone. For the participants it is a chance to share their experience, strength and hope with others and to carry the message to the addict who still suffers. No addict has to die from the horror of addiction without the opportunity to learn a better way of living. Each addict can stop using, lose the desire to use and find a new way to live. Our message is a hope and a promise of freedom. NA in Poland is an active and strong community. We believe that the Convention s agenda best represents the condition of Narcotics Anonymous in Poland, and that we have many reasons to be proud of and to celebrate our recovery! All money raised during the Convention will be transferred to NA in Poland. The money will help in achieving our main goal: carrying the message to addicts who still suffer. We would like to express special thanks to the Steering Committee and all those who supported us all the time in the organization of the Convention. We would like to remind you that we are not professional organizers, just a group of recovering addicts who serve and meet to carry this message of recovery. 7 Getting to Miętne by car: Powiatowy Ośrodek Sportu is located in Miętne on the route from Warsaw to Lublin (about 60 km from Warsaw). Driving the route Warsaw - Lublin (E372, National 17), at the roundabout in Kołbiel head to Lublin, after passing Lipówki, 3 km before Garwolin begins city s bypass. Turn right at the very beginning of the ring road (first exit!), then in Michałówka turn right. The venue is located at 45 Główna St., less than 1 km from the exit - before you reach the park turn left. Driving the route from Lublin, turn on the last exit! (exit at McDonald s) to the right, right again heading for the overpass, on Przemysłowa St., as the main road leads, turn at Zespół Szkół Rolniczych (near the park). GPS coordinates: N E Getting to Miętne by train: TLK trains, PKP Intercity (approx. 1 hr. ride) to Pilawa, than by bus to Miętne (towards Michałówka, Garwolin).
