9 Testimonials Please find a number of testimonials from student participants from our previous program. Cornell and CKGSB were two of the primary partners. The program is a priceless experience... Within 30 minutes, I knew this program was worth everything and the relationships I have made will last a lifetime. The program is really helpful because it makes us understand how to deal with China, the way to collaborate with businesses in China and how marketing is viewed in China. Calvin Smith Head of Business Development at Eastern America Trio Products, Second Generation Family Business Leader The program offers a unique cross-cultural experience and prepares students to become future global business leaders. Faculty from two world-class schools Cornell and CKGSB come together and offer unparalleled expertise and education. There is no other program that has such high-caliber faculty, participants and networking opportunities. This is a once-in-alifetime opportunity. Nathan Young Master s Student at Cornell University, Columbia University 2014
10 It was unbelievable to me how everyone came together in this program. Through all of us being involved in the same intense, intellectually satisfying program at the same time, we had an amazing group experience. We moved beyond being friends and became a family. I am not exaggerating when I say there is only one way to describe this program. To put it simply, it is the best program ever. James Wan Fordham University Student, Majoring in Mathematics and Economics, Second Generation Entrepreneur Perfect! That s how I would describe this program: Just perfect. It s a perfect program for those who want to go into business and law. And the personal bonding that took place was unforgettable. The friends I made here I look forward to doing business with them. Eric Ding JD Candidate at Northwestern University, Founder of VisCorps Leadership Group I just made 20 new global friends. As we all grow and start different companies and head off in different industries, we will be able to rely on each other and have the great memories we are making right now. The most helpful aspect of the program were the connections I made, but the knowledge is amazing also. I thought I knew how I would one day do business with China but that has completely changed. 9 Stephanie Ball Recruiting Operations Coordinator at Bridgewater Associates, Third Generation Family Business Leader
11 Notable CKGSB Alumni It is a daunting challenge for a business school to bring so many truly A-list business leaders together, but CKGSB has managed to hit another home run. Jack Ma Founder and Executive Chairman, Alibaba Faculty (Chinese) entrepreneurs now have realized that there is nothing to be ashamed about in having a family business, and passing the business down through generations should be something they feel proud of. More and more entrepreneurs have realized they can keep their companies within the family. Teng Bingsheng Associate Dean, CKGSB One of the things that makes this program so unique and that excites me the most is that it is geared to such a diverse audience; people from different kinds of family businesses being taught by expert faculty who will tailor the learning to the needs of the participants. Elizabeth A. Mannix Associate Dean, Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University 10
