3 Internet Explorer Instructions ***Internet Explorer 7.0 Required*** *** IE Recommended when creating a PDF*** The instructions for Internet Explorer (IE) need to be followed each time you access the North American Lighting Supplier Reporting System, in order to obtain a valid security certificate. To avoid this, you can add the page to your Favorites and/or create a desktop shortcut. Instructions are included. Go to Click NAL Supplier Website Link. 3

8 Internet Explorer Instructions, cont. In order to avoid obtaining a valid security certificate each time you access the North American Lighting Supplier Reporting System, you can add this page to your Favorites. Click Favorite from the menu. Click Add. 8

9 Internet Explorer Instructions, cont. To create a shortcut icon on your desktop, right-click North American Lighting Supplier Reporting System in the Favorites drop-down menu. Right-click Create Shortcut in next drop-down menu. You will have a desktop shortcut created. 9

10 Mozilla Firefox Instructions ***Firefox 3.0 or greater Required*** The instructions for Mozilla Firefox only need to be followed once when accessing the North American Lighting Supplier Reporting System, in order to obtain a valid security certificate. You can add the page to your Bookmarks for easy access. Instructions are included. Go to Click NAL Supplier Website Link. 10

17 Mozilla Firefox Instructions, cont. In order to save time when you access the North American Lighting Supplier Reporting System, you can add this page to your Bookmarks. Click Bookmarks from the menu. Click Bookmark This Page from the drop-down menu. Click Done. 17

18 Sign in To sign into the, enter your Username and Password. The process is the same for both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Click the Sign In button. 18

19 Sign In, cont. If you enter an incorrect Username or Password, you will receive the message Username or Password is not correct. Please try again. The process is the same for both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Re-enter your Username and Password. Click the Sign In button. 19

20 Change Password If you wish to change your Password, you can do so by clicking Change Password. The process is the same for both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Enter your Username and Old Password and your New Password twice. Click the Submit button. You will receive an error message if your Username or Old Password are entered incorrectly. You will also receive an error message if both New Password entries do not match. 20

21 Get Login Name If a second attempt to enter your Username and Password fails, you can have your Password reset and get your Username by . The process is the same for both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Click Get Login Name. Your should open with the administrator s addressed automatically entered. If not, you can find the administrator s address at the bottom of the page. 21

22 Print a Supplier Report To Print a North American Lighting Supplier Report, you must have access to a PDF writer. If your place of employment does not offer one, you can download a free version, such as deskpdf. The process is the same for both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, however Internet Explorer generates better results. Create a North American Lighting Supplier Report. Click File from the menu. Click Print from the drop-down menu. 22

23 Print a Supplier Report, cont. Select your PDF writer in the Print window. Click the Print button. 23
