17 NO-DIG TECHNOLOGIES What to expect during construction phase? Several notifications from contractor before, during, and after construction. Presence of several vehicles, equipments, and personnel in your neighborhood

20 TEST AND SEAL Injection of 2-part chemical mix into the joints seal leakage. Seals leaks, but not a structural t repair. Additive minimizes root intrusions.

21 PROJECT GOALS FOR LATERALS Primary Goals Eliminate leakage at lateral connection with sewer main Eliminate i leakage in the leakiest part of the lateral l between the main and the right-of-way Secondary Goal Improve performance of lateral

22 Lateral Grouting Injection of 2-part chemical mix into the joints of the lateral l to seal it from leakage. Seals leaks, but not a structural repair. Additive minimizes root intrusions. Laterals connected to Sewer Main A packer launched in the main grouts the first 2 to 3 joints in the lateral Lt Laterals connected td to Manholes hl A push-packer launched from the manholes grouts 5-30 ft up lateral.

23 Lateral Short Liners Use resin-impregnated felt material that is cured into a hard pipe inside existing pipe. Installed remotely from the main. Extends 3 feet up lateral from main. Seals leaks and forms structural t repair of any cracks or fractures.
