BAGNODESIGN The BAGNODESIGN Collection is arguably the most comprehensive range of bathroom fixtures and fittings available in the market today. Driven by the clients need to Value Engineer the BAGNODESIGN range has expanded significantly in recent years, offering excellent value whilst maintaining high levels of design and quality. Established initially to fill product gaps in the market with bathroom accessories and mixers, the breadth of product range today is comprehensive, including accessories, mixers, sanitaryware, showering, furniture and also whirlpools and mirror TV s. COMPANY PROFILE BAGNODESIGN product is sourced globally and with strict quality control measures at both the factory and through our Jebel Ali and UK Logistics centres, customers are guaranteed a quality product that is competitively priced. AQUAZONE Under the umbrella of AQUAZONE, the company has developed a number of plumbing related sub brands which include AQUADRAIN floor drains and shower channels, AQUAECO concealed cisterns, flushing mechanisms and washroom accessories and AQUAFLEX bidet sprays and flexible hoses. Whilst still in its infancy, the AQUA brand is rapidly increasing its presence across both the Project and Wholesale markets. 6

12 THREE CHANNELS TO MARKET RETAIL SANIPEXTRADE COMPANY PROFILE MULTI BRAND BAGNODESIGN showrooms have set the standard as the premier showroom location for architects, designers, and private clients. On display are products from 30 of the world s leading manufacturers, providing a toolkit for clients to create a bathroom solution that is unique to them. SINGLE BRAND - BAGNODESIGN The development of the BAGNODESIGN product line enabled the company to open an exclusive BAGNODESIGN single branded showroom in July This showroom has become the blueprint for potential franchisees looking to open showrooms in their own markets. Currently 16 such showrooms are in operation with a further nine showrooms due to open in the second half of Through single branded showrooms, we are able to protect market exclusivity to our franchisees and control the distribution of the product in the respective markets. AQUAZONE QUALITY PLUMBING SOLUTIONS AQUAZONE showrooms were borne out from listening to the frustrations of existing sanitaryware contractors about the lack of quality plumbing materials within the market and not being able to get them from one source. The AQUAZONE showrooms in Dubai and Sharjah, provide a one stop shop offering complete plumbing solutions for individual plumbers through to major contractors with unrivalled customer service and technical support. 10 Sanipex Trade took advantage of the economic downturn, which coincided with the opening of the Jebel Ali logistics centre, to significantly improve customer service levels. Whilst customers and other distributors reduced their inventories and subsequently stock availability, Sanipex stepped in to provide a steady supply of products into the market in broken bulk quantities and with greater frequency of delivery. The Trade division distributes either in bulk, acting as an agent, or broken bulk through invoicing fast moving commercial sanitaryware and plumbing materials to a network of reputable dealers who operate in their local markets across the Middle East, South Asia and Levant. The development of both the BAGNODESIGN and AQUAZONE brands has enabled the Trade division to expand beyond their traditional markets and are now actively developing new business across the whole of Africa, including the establishment of an office in Accra, Ghana to support West Africa, the CIS and even as far afield as New Zealand. Strategic partners are being sought in these markets who are establishing both exclusive and non-exclusive showrooms for the BAGNODESIGN and AQUAZONE brands.

13 PROJECTS BAGNODESIGN The Project division has become the go-to choice for leading Developers, Architects, Interior Designers and Contractors, with our products represented in several of the world s most iconic projects. This approach has led to us having our products successfully installed in several prestigious projects including the St Regis Hotel and Resort in Abu Dhabi, Viceroy Yas Marina Hotel which straddles the Abu Dhabi F1 motor racing track, Kempinski and Raffles Hotels in Dubai and the JW Marriott Absheron Hotel in Baku. COMPANY PROFILE Our core strength is the ability to work with our clients through every stage of the project. Our specifications team works with the architects and designers on product selection before passing it to our sales team in the relevant location who ensure that our specified product is ordered or to provide alternative options where it is not. Post Sales and Logistics teams ensure the products are delivered to site when the client wants them, Technical teams provide installation support and once the project is live, our Retail team or local partner provide ongoing operational support. The opening of the London A & D Centre further supports this and enables us to ensure that the vision created by Architects and Designers in London is realised in the finished project irrespective of whether it is in Europe, the Middle East, Africa or Asia. AQUAZONE Focuses on the plumbing aspect of a project and also on institutional projects which cover hospitals, clinics, universities, schools and other public institutions. Institutional projects are a significant area of growth particularly within the Middle Eastern market, and the recent development of the AQUAZONE product range and the commercial side of the BAGNODESIGN range has enabled us to quickly become a signifcant supplier to this market, with several prestigious projects including Zayed University and Cleveland Clinic in Abu Dhabi and Sidra Hospital in Qatar already supplied. 14 A & D CENTRE This new Architectural and Design Centre concept, which was successfully launched in Qatar in May 2012, is described as a toolkit for architects and designers to aid product specification for bathrooms. Effectively it is an exclusive showroom for Architects, Interior Designers, Developers and other project related clients who can experience our products at first hand to aid selection. The role of London as a hub for the specification of international hospitality projects is increasing and to support this, in July 2012, the second A & D Centre opened in Clerkenwell, Central London, which is home to over 2,000 architectural and design practices. This move supports our pledge to work with our clients through the entire life of a project and see that the products specified are those that are finally delivered. COMPANY PROFILE 12

16 UNRIVALLED SUPPLY CHAIN CAPABILITY In May 2009, the company opened its 8,300m 2, state-of-the-art Logistics Centre within the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai. With easy access to both sea and air freight facilities, stock can be efficiently mobilised and distributed to our clients across the UAE and the wider Gulf region, Central and South Asia and Africa. Opened during a period where both competitors and customers were de-stocking, it has enabled us to become the supplier of choice across all divisions with a reputation in the market for having stock available and the capability to deliver to the client what they want, where they want it and when they want it. The facility has enabled the development of the BAGNODESIGN range to become the most comprehensive available in the market today, and with the latest warehouse management system we can optimise stock levels and track the movement of thousands of product every week. MANUFACTURING BAGNODESIGN Whirlpools are manufactured in the Jebel Ali facility providing the flexibility to deliver bespoke designs for our clients. Whether it is for a single villa or a several hundred room hospitality project, the product can be delivered where and when the customer requires it. Whirlpools can be fitted to the majority of inset acrylic bathtubs within the BAGNODESIGN range and by not having to import and store completed whirlpools, monetary savings are passed onto the customer ensuring the whirlpools are highly competitive on price. BAGNODESIGN has developed its own range of BAGNOVISION Mirror TV s which are assembled both in Jebel Ali and in the UK. By assembling in-house, this technologically advanced product can be bespoken to the client s requirements. COMPANY PROFILE In 2011, warehousing and distribution facilities were established near Leeds, in the north of England to ensure the efficient export of our UK and European manufactured products directly to our customers in their relative markets as well as to our distribution hub in Dubai, whilst also supporting the growth in UK business. 14

18 Daryl Barker, Group Managing Director Founder of the Group, Daryl has over 30 years invaluable industry experience, 20 years of which have been based in Dubai. Prior to establishing Sanipex, Daryl gained experience from working with high profile companies including Pegler (Export Manager), Paul Weil Dubai (General Manager) and Eurobath UK (Managing Director). He has acquired a comprehensive background within the industry and substantial expertise of the Middle East markets. Daryl has operational responsibility for identifying new markets and product development. Kevan Halliwell, Commercial & Financial Director Kevan has over 28 years experience in the construction industry, including 16 years at senior management level within multinational suppliers. Kevan joined Sanipex in 2004 bringing a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the Company and is responsible for Commercial, Finance, IT and Warehousing. THE DIRECTORS Calum Stewart, Retail Director Dominic Coulbeck, Operations Director Guy Wilson Managing Director - Projects COMPANY PROFILE Calum is a senior retail professional with over 25 years retail management experience gained from working with leading, multinational companies across the UK, Middle East and Far East. Calum has a wealth of operational experience and prior to joining Sanipex in January 2008, was Store Development Director for the AS Watson Group in Hong Kong where he was responsible for developing new retail brands and store concepts. Dominic has over 20 years experience in management positions with Blue Chip organizations in the UK and the Middle East. Resident in Dubai since 1988, he joined Sanipex in 2005 and heads up our new facility in Jebel Ali with the responsibility for Purchasing, Post Sales Support, Distribution and Human Resources. 16 Guy has 20 years of international experience in the industrial and construction sectors in Africa, Europe and Middle East. Guy has been based in Dubai for the past seven years working for Geberit, where he has most recently been Head of the Gulf region. Guy leads up the Sanipex Project division.

19 COMPANY PROFILE Jamie Cain Sales Director - Trade Jamie joined Sanipex in 1996 bringing with him a natural ability in sales and firsthand knowledge of the plumbing industry. His ability and knowledge has resulted in Sanipex becoming a market leader in plumbing and sanitaryware in the UAE, Middle East and Africa Markets. Mark Walker Sales Director - BagnoDesign UK Mark Walker has nearly 20 years of experience in the international bathroom and plumbing industry, having worked in various capacities throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas as well as domestically in the United Kingdom. After nearly a decade with British brassware leaders VADO (during which he worked closely with Sanipex) he then established his own design-led bathroom and kitchen showroom. Continuing with his passion for bathrooms, he has joined Sanipex in March 2012 to head up the BAGNODESIGN UK operation. SUPPORT Tom Boyd Contracts Manager - Aquazone Tom joined Sanipex in 2007 and heads up the AQUAZONE Division. Tom is a qualified Hydraulic Engineer and brings over 15 years of international experience in design, installation, sales and general management within the plumbing and sanitaryware industries. Stephen Turner Chief Financial Officer An International Executive who joined Sanipex Group in February 2012, previously being Managing Director and Finance Director of multi-national companies operating in diverse hightech markets. Stephen is a graduate accountant with an MBA. Ben Ralph Chief Information Officer Ben has over 17 years IT experience working in the heavily regulated UK Banking industry, leading teams that successfully delivered multi-million pound transformation and integration programmes for two leading UK Banks.
