Culinary school degree or advanced education in food service management is preferred. Must have some cooking experience as a chef/cook in a hotel, large restaurant or institutional kitchen. Responsible for meal preparation in the kitchen on board our dining cars. The food specialist must have the ability to offer our passengers a wide variety of full-course meals that are freshly prepared in our kitchen. Job Title: Food Production Manager Job Number: 583 Hours/Days: 10am 7pm Monday to Friday Salary: $35k per year Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must be 21 years of age. Culinary school degree or advanced education in food service management is preferred. Must have some cooking experience as a chef/cook in a hotel, large restaurant or institutional kitchen. Responsible for meal preparation in the kitchen on board our dining cars. Must be able to create delicious dishes. Must have a college degree, culinary school degree and work experience as stated above. Assisting the chef in developing, creating, writing and testing recipes; prepping and cooking for food shoots before and on-set, food styling; calculation of nutritional data. Job Title: Line Cook Job Number:608 Hours/Days: Monday Friday() Salary: $9.00/hr Approximate Location: Los Angeles, Ca Requirements: Good knife skills, ability to multi-task, ability to work under pressure and relevant restaurant experience. Able to prepare food according to food handlers guidelines & knowledge of cooking procedures, able to communicate with prep cooks & wait staff, label and date all food stored & rotate food as needed. Able to lift 50lbs, First Aid CPR certification and food handlers card.
