3 Who should read this guide This guide is for interested in certifying their solutions on the HP Helion OpenStack platform. Qualified get free access to an HP Helion test environment (sandbox) and technical support to self-certify applications and services. The program allows Solution Providers to certify once with HP Helion OpenStack and over time, sell across all HP Helion cloud distribution models, including public, private and managed. The program enables market scale, discovery and revenue opportunity for partners. The HP Helion Ready Program The HP Helion Ready Program for Solution Providers makes it easy for ISVs and SaaS application providers to self-certify their applications and services on HP Helion OpenStack and Developer Platform. By partnering with the global leader in hybrid clouds, will be discoverable by thousands of HP enterprise customers and the large HP sales team through the HP Helion Ready Solutions Catalog. The HP Helion platform is built on HP Helion OpenStack, HP s version of the leading open-source cloud computing platform. HP Helion OpenStack is an open, scalable, extensible cloud platform that enables global enterprises and service providers to more easily build, manage, and use hybrid clouds. It provides a hardened, curated product designed to deliver leading open-source cloud computing technology in a resilient, cost-effective, maintainable solution while adhering tightly to the OpenStack API standards and services, thus eliminating vendor lock-in and facilitating application portability. HP Helion OpenStack provides integration with enterprise applications and tools; storage capabilities including Swift; network virtualization integrated into Neutron; cross-platform support for third-party hypervisors, databases, and software solutions; and robust security and management capabilities. 4 Express Interest 1 4 After going through this program guide, website and FAQs, need to fill out the form to express interest in the program. Those providers who qualify will then get access to the HP Helion sandbox. The minimum required criteria for qualification: A legitimate business entity Have a shipping product or service in GA Target enterprise customers Note: Expressing interest through the program portal does not guarantee an invitation and access to infrastructure to test and certify applications. HP will, from time to time, modify, add or change the qualification criteria including prioritizing with existing HP Helion opportunities. HP s sole discretion will prevail in this matter and will be binding and final. To complete an interest form, visit hp.com/partners/helionready. Get Published in Catalog that complete the above steps will have the opportunity to have their solutions listed on the HP Helion Ready Solutions Catalog, provided they meet the requirements to get a solution/service listed: Complete catalog template (made available by HP) Submit Joint Value Proposition slide (template made available by HP) Create a co-branded solution page with a dedicated buying environment for HP Helion services (if applicable) and provide URL All materials should be sent to helion-ready-isv-admin@hp.com within two (2) weeks of the Effective Date of the HP Helion Ready Program for Agreement. These will be reviewed and are subject to approval by the HP Helion Ready Program Team. 2 Self-certify 5 Maintain Certification Status Once approved by HP, will get access for a limited period of time (at HP s discretion) to anhp Helion sandbox, where they can upload and configure their solutions to run their own private tests. Upon completion of testing, Solution Providers will be required to give a demo of their solution running on Helion OpenStack to the HP Helion Ready Program Team. The must test their solutions and services within three months after a new version of HP Helion OpenStack is available. Upon completion of self-certification, Solution Providers must inform their customers of the new certification. must also re-certify their solution on HP Helion OpenStack if they release an upgraded version of their solution or service. demo may be recorded and used by HP to showcase to customers. The HP Helion Ready Badge 3 Commit to Support Once testing is completed, Solution Providers must sign the HP Helion Ready Program Agreement and thereby agree to deliver technical support to customers running their solution or service on the HP Helion OpenStack platform. Ready HP will encourage customers to discover credible certified solutions via the Solutions Catalog. with certified solutions will also be able to use the HP Helion Ready badge per the guidelines in the agreement to validate certification status. 4

5 The HP Helion Ready badge signifies that an application or service has been self-certified on the HP Helion OpenStack platform and will be supported by the Solution Provider. All HP Helion Ready solutions and services will be listed on the HP Helion Ready Solutions Catalog and be visible to thousands of HP enterprise customers and sales teams across the world. The HP Helion Ready badge will be delivered to who have self-certified their solutions and services by completing the 5-Step Certification Process described above. The badge may only be used in connection with the solution or service that has been tested on the HP Helion sandbox. Refer to the HP Helion Ready Program Agreement for more details regarding usage of the HP Helion Ready badge. The HP Helion Ready Program for Agreement Upon completion of testing, an authorized representative from the Solution Provider company must sign the HP Helion Ready Program for Agreement. The agreement, along with this HP Helion Ready Program Guide and the HP Helion Ready Program web pages, defines the relationship between HP and the HP Helion Ready Program member. The HP Helion Ready badge and inclusion in the HP Helion Ready Solutions Catalog are withheld until the authorized representative signs the agreement and other requirements laid out are met in a timely manner. Enrollment Information By joining the HP Helion Ready Program, a Solution Provider consents to receiving program-related information from HP for the following purposes: a) Administering the program; b) Providing information to the Solution Provider about the program, including events and training opportunities; c) Inviting the Solution Provider to participate in surveys and research; and d) Providing the Solution Provider with information and materials to support its efforts to deliver HP solutions, including security information, technical information, and sales and marketing materials and resources. Primary Contact Each Solution Provider must designate one person to be the primary contact during the HP Helion Ready Program certification process. The primary contact must be an authorized legal representative of the company. This person signs the agreement, receives all HP Helion Ready Program communications, and also manages the company information and contacts. Technical Contact Each HP Helion Ready Program member designates one person from their company as the Technical Contact during the HP Helion Ready Program certification process. The Technical contact will be given access to the HP Helion sandbox when the company is accepted into the program. Solution Provider Marks The HP Helion Ready Program for Solution Providers Agreement defines Solution Provider Marks and permitted uses. The following are the specs for logos: Format: - PNGs with transparency strongly preferred. Size: - Ideally, Solution Provider will provide a range of sizes from 24px tall to 64px tall in the common increments (24, 32, 48, and 64). - Alternatively, Solution Provider could provide the Solution Provider Mark in a size as large as possible so that HP can resize it down to fit and maintain sharpness. 5

6 Background: - The Solution Provider Mark will be placed on a light background. - If the Solution Provider Mark itself is light and would have poor contrast against a light background, then provide a dark background frame for the Solution Provider Mark. Other materials Specs for other materials mentioned in this Program Guide will be included with the request for such materials by the HP Helion Ready Program Team. Getting Started After reading this Program Guide and the criteria for acceptance into the program, interested in self-certifying their solution or service should complete the Interest Form at hp.com/partners/helionready. The HP Helion Ready Program Team will review the information provided and respond within two to three (2-3) business days. Solution Providers that meet the criteria described above will be granted access to the HP Helion sandbox, and provided with instructions as well as technical support while testing. As mentioned above, HP will give priority to solution providers with existing Helion opportunities.
