Additionally developed a Patient Acuity tool to determine appropriate staffing levels for ICU on a shift by shift basis. Developed a Hospital wide Policy and Procedure to ensure safe delivery of Thrombolytic "clot buster" drugs to heart attack patients in a timely manner with limited personnel available. Kit included an administration check list, standardized pre-printed order form, standardized informed consent sheet. Also included writing polices for nursing and laboratory and Cardio-Respirotory services to ensure, all necessary blood draw equipment be on hand in pre-packs and implemented on initial IV start. Developed a new Post Anesthesia Care record to streamline the care of patients during their stay in the PACU James G.
