2 VALUE ADDS: NEW REVENUE OPPORTUNITIES. DYNAMIC CURRENCY CONVERSION. Dynamic Currency Conversion offers international cardholders the choice to pay for goods or services in their home currency, while the acquirer and merchant benefit from the foreign exchange margin normally recognised by the issuing bank and the card schemes. Once the customer s payment card has been read by Verifone s card payment solution, the terminal will automatically detect the card s eligibility for DCC. If eligible, the terminal proposes a choice between the amount due in pounds Sterling and its equivalent in the currency of the card, allowing the customer to pay in their preferred currency. The merchant will always receive payment in their home currency at the starting value of the goods sold and apercentage of the foreign exchange difference from the acquirer, thus removing all exchange rate risk. Creates revenue stream for merchants from foreign exchange Settlement is in GBP, eliminating the risk of fluctuating foreign exchange rates Eliminates need to display multi-currency pricing Exchange rates are updated twice a day in real-time to remain competitive Provides customers with the choice to pay in their own currency, providing transparency and familiarity No additional charges MOBILE E-TOP UP. The unprecedented growth in the mobile phone pay-as-you-go market has created a huge increase in demand for convenient mobile e-top up services. More people are using their mobile devices as their primary tool for voice and data communications, , internet browsing, gaming and social networking.
