Typical Schedule: Schedule will vary and is based on business needs- weekends and holidays are required. Employees may work a variety of morning, afternoon and evening shifts. It may not be possible to assign an employee to a set shift. Position Because of the business volume, bussers may be used at Hard Rock Cafe. They are directly responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the restaurant, which allows other departments to focus on the guests. te: Bussers may also perform as Barbacks. -A Barback is a Bartender s assistant. Barback responsibilities are as follows (but not limited to) stocking the bar with liquor, ice, glassware, beer and garnishes. Barbacks are responsible for supporting the bartender. Dishwashing and bussing tables are also included. SCHEDULES: Schedules will vary and is based on business needs- weekends and holidays are required. Some morning shifts will begin as early as 6:00am. Some evening shifts may work as late as 2:00am during busy time periods. Friends traveling together cannot be guaranteed the same day off or the same scheduled shift. Please be prepared for this. GROOMING AND APPEARANCE GUIDELINES: 1/11

2 Uniform shirt must be kept clean and neat. Jeans/pants must not be faded torn or have designs on them. * If hair is longer than shoulder length employee must tie it back. * Facial hair is acceptable but employee look well groomed at all times. * Employees are expected to maintain good personal hygiene. *Tattoos and body-piercings are acceptable if they are in good taste and do not violate sanitation and health policies. HOUSING: Students are Required to find housing in Myrtle Beach prior to your U.S. arrival. Your Intrax Representative will provide you with a list of Housing Leads to select from. It will be your responsiblity to arrange the housing before traveling to the United States. Please make arrangements to pay your landlord the security deposit and rent upon your arrival. PARTICIPANTS WHO DO NOT ARRANGE THEIR HOUSING PRIOR TO ARRIVAL WILL NEED TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO STAY IN A HOTEL UNTIL THEY CAN LOCATE HOUSING. Hotels in Myrtle Beach are very expensive. Please make sure you arrange your housing before you travel to the United States. Housing Features: The type of housing will depend on what you choose. This is typically shared apartments or homes. Some locations may be furnished while others may not. Some location may require you to pay for utilities such as electricity water trash removal cable TV and internet. Please be sure to discuss this with your landlord when making housing arrangments Housing Costs (estimate): $75-$125 per wee/ per person This is the typical cost when sharing housing with 3 to 4 other employees. Additional Costs: Housing Deposit The housing deposit varies and is typically one month's rent. Employees must be available for every shift they are scheduled to work at Hard Rock Cafe and their second job must not interfere with their work performance. 3 Clearing dirty tables Resetting tables Sweeping the floor Emptying trash cans Stocking ice/products Maintaining a clean and organized back dock area Pre-bussing tables Assisting and communicating with hosts, servers and other bussers Skills Required: The participant to apply for a position at the Hard Rock Cafe Myrtle Beach must have Advanced English skills great customer service positive attitude and committed to providing a positive experience to Hard Rock Cafe guests. Pay range is $ $5.00 per hour. Bussers average $50.00 in tips per shift, based on their work performance. Employees who do an outstanding job may make more in tips. Myrtle Beach SC Nearest Bus Station: Participants choosing to fly into an airport other than Myrtle Beach International Airport will need to take a bus to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina Greyhound Bus Station: 511 7TH AVE N Myrtle Beach, SC (843) Nearest Train Station: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina does not have a Train Station. Transportation to Company: Employees who arrange housing that is not within walking/biking distance of their work location will use public transportation to get to/from work. Reporting Instructions: All participants must contact the employer with your travel arrangements before your arrival to the USA. Once you have arrived in Myrtle Beach take a taxi to the housing location you have arranged. If you choose to fly into another airport, you will need to take a Greyhound Bus to Myrtle Beach, SC. At the bus station you can take a taxi to the housing location you have arranged. 6 Housing is not provided by your employer, Intrax will assist in giving you housing leads. Your Intrax Representatives are currently working on securing housing leads for you and these will be added to the Job Description as they are arranged. In most cases it will be YOUR Responsibility to contact the housing leads and reserve your housing. In some cases, Intrax will assist in collecting leases from you and sending to the landlord.
