6 Personal Care The minimum personal care base fee is required for all assisted living residents. The following services are included in the base fee: Nine personal care points Nurse on site at least 40 hours/week during days and evenings, and on-call support Nurse liaison with health care professionals Nurse coordination of clinic appointments and hospital transfers Nurse maintenance of clinical record information Nurse coordination of laboratory requests Nurse review every other month 24-hour on-site home health aide staffing Response by home health aide to pendant calls Individualized daily reassurance check Monthly blood pressure and weight checks Weekly light housekeeping If second occupant does not need points of personal care support, his or her required base fee is $190.
