2 Stefan Falkenau and the team think different is not even a slogan, it is part of our program. Company founder and owner Stefan Falkenau is the most creative head indeed, however a lot of assistants many of them voluntaries - are necessary. Together we are responsible that our objective comes true: We want to present an unforgettable experience by special fireworks to our customers! The following pages show the way how we are going to reach this objective. No boring details, but useful tips and descriptive photos provide you an impression of our company first class pyro-events. We want to get your trust in our efficiency and confirm this trust by an outstanding firework.

4 Enterprise philosophy The company first class pyro-events is still a young enterprise (foundation August, 2004) anyhow we have acquired an excellent image in this sector and together with our customers. We have reached this status just by living our enterprise philosophy. That means that every firework must be an unique specimen, none of the following factors may be looked lower-ranked: - The most precise personel judgement of the burn-off-place and analysing of the pyrotechnical and artistic possibilities. - Detailed and realistic consultation with the customer, in fact we never promise things we can not realize. - Choreography and software developing needs to be realized in detail. - Best preparation of the equipment, the pyrotechnical materials and the ignition system long time before the real start to be prepared in the best way possible for the build-up. - Always in time production: timely completion of the fireworks with time buffers through generous planning of the resource needs. - The greatest possible cleanness is a self-evident fact for us.

5 The most important point which is not listed above: We want to deliver outstanding quality without any exception. This leaves at least not only an always enthusiastic customer, but also serves as a basis for our work: further development and perfection of our fireworks. You will have noted that we take our objectives which are listed in our company logo on page one, very seriously. The company first class pyro-events will satisfy the expectations of our customers by her current status and through continuous advancements. Making profit is not the mayor task of our company. Our self-image is to deliver pyrotechnic-services from the perspective of an artist to our customers.

7 Equipment Our customers often have no idea what a huge expenditure is necessary to build up fireworks. Our company owns more than about 2000 firing pipes (mortar) of different calibers ans countless other devices for front pieces and things like this. The following pictures should provide you an impression of typical equipment of a firing place. Our digital ignition system is able to fire the effects exactly on the hundreth second. Several hundred ignition points (cues) must be connected to shoot a mid-size firework, with great events it can become already more than thousand cues. Of course the suitable equipment is available also for music fireworks (pyromusicals). Launching platform on a pontoon typical burn-offplace

9 Showdesign To be able to shoot a perfect show from different positions absolutely synchronically and if it is a pyro-musical it must be tact-exactly, extensive preparatory operations on the computer are necessary. In a pyro-musical the music must be heard dozens of time to develop the suitable fireworks pictures. After that the extensive definition and the input of the fireworks in a special computer software can start. The conversion needs a precise material planning, preparing need lists and construction plans, intensive resource planning etc. To explain all steps on the way to a perfect firework would sprinkle the frame here. Two graphics shall provide an impression of the work to be performed. The first graphic shows a screenshot from the pyro software ICue. (We were decisively involved in the development of the software). The second graphic shows a small part of an assembly plan for racks, in this case for fireworks categorie 4 which was shot in Hamburg from a pontoon.

11 Demo-DVD Example-Categories Enclosed this portfolio you will find our Demo-DVD. To give you an overview about the different sizes of our fireworks you will find an detailed description of four alternatives. These are exemplary for the character and the size of shows and are corresponding to different pricing ranges. Based on the given budget and the circumstances of the burning place we are providing a capable consulting which firework is appropriate for your event. The following description of the four catagories shall explain the character and the size of different fireworks on the demo-dvd. On the attached bonus DVD you will find the show, the preparation and an addressing trailer from a firework which was burnt in September 2006 in Hamburg. The DVD was produced by a dutch team which is making videoproductions of very special fireworks from all of the world. category 1 This category includes fireworks which must be limited in size because of a critical safety clearance or small budgets. Limitation in size does not mean that these fireworks needs lower preparation as the bigger ones. The limited calibre size of the effects merely means that the possibilities for the show are more restricted. In this category we are mostly realizing ground effects (Barock-fireworks) and mid-ceiling effects. The duration of these fireworks takes about 8 to 10 minutes and needs an budget of about category 2 This category is the increase of category 1. The firework-pictures were shoot as a combination from ground effects, mid-size effects and high

12 effects. This makes sure that all view areas up to 150 meters were considered at the same time. The emphasis of effects is in the fireworkbombs with a calibre up to 125 mm and a ceiling of about 100 meters and more. The choice of effects in this dimension is almost unlimited, that means that the choreography of firework pictures is nearly unrestricted. The results are impressing pictures which rise up to the sky. The duration of these fireworks takes about 12 to 14 minutes and needs an budget of about category 3 The champions league among the fireworks are the pyromusicals. In this category we can consider to nearly all music wishes of the customer. There are very few music titles which can not be used within a firework. Based on your favourite music or interpreter we are developing a perfect and impressing show. To meet your wishes is self-evident for us. The effort for the production of pyromusicals is much higher than for fireworks without music. This is founded in the high effort of software programming (appr. 20 hours or more) and the need for a much bigger number of ignition channels which need to be prepared and connected. Although the Pyromusicals require the biggest effort for the realization they are leaving the most impressing mark of all fireworks. Tears of emotions were seen while burning a wedding firework together with the preferred music of the bride or the groom. The ideal duration of these fireworks takes about 10 to 12 minutes (3 music titles) and needs a budget of about category 4 In this category we would like to present our complete capability even with big challenges. The category 4 firework is dominated by very big firework-bombs. About bombs up to calibre 200 mm and a ceiling of

13 about 250 meters together with thousands of mid-size effects were burnt in June The challenge was to realize a very big firework burn the firework directly on the crowded river Elbe, within a defined and very small time frame, work must be done from a small pontoon, which must be towed ready for shoot through Hamburg (imagine how much work it costs to get all necessary government releases) This firework had a duration of more than 20 minutes and a budget of about was available.

14 International and national Competitions In July 2008 we participated in the international fireworks competition Ciutat de Tarragona in Tarragona, Spain, which is very much renowned. We succeeded with the application for this approximately just as renowned companies from the whole world and realized an enormous firework display. You can see the result of the half year preparation time on the enclosed Special DVD. The 16-head expert jury set us on the third place and we are glad to have from the delicate Spanish public (each evening more than 60,000 spectators) as a winner the Public Award received. Altogether not only participation permission a large honour was regarded for us, but likewise there success an expression of our efficiency and both fulfills us also a little proud. 16 Also in 2009 we participated at very renowned international fireworks competitions in Spain. They were competitions in the cities of Burgos and Bilbao. The competition in Bilbao has internationally highest reputation and we are proud to have been there. We succeeded here with the application against renowned companies from the whole world and realized enormous fireworks. The fireworks can be regarded at present only on youtube.com. A complex demo DVD 2009 is at present in production. In addition, the videos for this are available on our homepage.
