3 3 February 2016 Business Symposium Scheduled for April 7th The Chamber will be hosting the Business Symposium in the Times Gazette Community Meeting Room on April 7th. A small admission fee of $15 for members and $25 for non-members covers lunch and priceless information from a professional in the field. Registration begins at 11:30 am and the symposium will wrap up at 1:00 pm. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to the Chamber by April 4th. Additionally, wage and hour issues and new workplace safety initiatives continue to present large risks for employers. The Highland Chamber originally brought the event to the county in May of The event operates on an invitation basis and provides self-esteem and interviewing skills and of course a complete make-over. "The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools that help them thrive in work and in life. This is a day to focus on the women that are selected to increase job searching knowledge, receive professional attire for job interviews and improve self-esteem and self-confidence. We are thankful to have had community support to provide hairstyles, make-up, lunch, workshops and self-development tools."
