JESSE KNIGHT (B.B.A. Management 89) Knight of Gilbert, AZ, retired in December of 2004 as Human Resources Manager for Naperville Public Library in Chicago, IL. He is now a realtor with Elite Desert Realty in Phoenix, AZ. ZACK HENDON (A.A. Business Administration 79) Originally from Henry County, Hendon is an attorney, and in 2007, formed the Hendon Law Firm, specializing in workers compensation and personal injury. After graduating from Clayton State in 1979, he earned his Bachelor s of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia in Hendon began practicing law in Henry County in 1984 with the law firm of Smith, Welch & Meadows and then worked as an in-house trial attorney for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for more than 20 years. KRISTINE (BECKER) HOPKINS (A.A. Mathematics 90) Hopkins, of Birmingham, AL, has been a professor in University of Alabama Birmingham School of Optometry since After graduating from Clayton State, she furthered her studies at Georgia Tech and UAB. She did a residency at the Southern California College of Optometry in pediatrics in Fullerton, CA. CARLIE ANDERSON (B.S. Integrative Studies 07) Anderson, originally from Hokes Bluff, AL, was named the head women s basketball coach at Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland, GA. Anderson was a four-year letterwinner for the Lakers and an assistant coach at Clayton State during the season. RHONDA BLISSIT (B.B.A. Accounting 02) Blissit, of McDonough, GA, is a 1998 graduate in Accounting. She is a CPA and senior accountant with Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, LLP in Tyrone, GA. MELISHA RUCKER (b.a.s. Allied Health Administration 00) Rucker, of Decatur, GA, works with the Internal Revenue Service in Chamblee, GA, as a tax technician. Melanie d. (Foster) Dell (B.s. Nursing 03) Dell, of McDonough, GA, is a RN at Wellpoint in Atlanta, GA. She graduated in 2003 with a B.S.N. DEXTER BROWN (B.B.A. Management 94) Brown, who lives in Atlanta, GA, is the Business Support Manager for the Central South Region with Bank of America. Brown was a former member of the Clayton State basketball team. JOSHUA DE LA VEGA (B.B.A. Management 98) Vega, a 1998 graduate in Management, works as a project manager with the NPV Corporation, an information technology-consulting firm, in Waltham, MA.

Information Technology 03) Sumpter, of Riverdale, GA, graduated in 2003 and is employed by the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. MYSTIQUE L. VANO LINDA (B.B.A. Accounting 01) VanO Linda, of Locust Grove, GA, is president of VanO Linda and Associates in Jonesboro, GA. A 2001 Accounting graduate, her firm was a 2006 finalist for the Small Business of the Year by the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce. STEPHANIE J. MCKEE (B.A. Middle Grades Education 06) McKee, of College Park, is a math teacher at Jonesboro Middle School. She graduated in 2006 with a degree in Middle Grades Education and is currently pursuing a Master s in Mathematics. STEPHEN COX (B.B.A. Marketing 04) Cox was named an assistant basketball coach at Mercer University in Macon, GA, in He was an assistant for three years at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, FL, where he helped lead his team to two conference championships. Cox was a two-year letter-winner at Clayton State and a former assistant on the Clayton State staff. JAY RICHARDSON (B.I.T Information Technology 02) Richardson, a 2002 Clayton State graduate, is owner of J. Rodney Personal Dining Service. He lives in Jonesboro, GA. ALEXIS N GAGE (A.S. HEALTH EDUCATION 92) Gage, a 1992 graduate from Clayton State, has received several post-secondary degrees since attending CSU. She will receive her Master of Laws (LLM) from The Ohio State University in May 2008 after receiving her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (PG Dipl) from Bond University in 2006 and her Juris Doctor (JD) from Bond University in In 2007, she received a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In addition, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (AB) from UGA in 1999 and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in JENNIFER BLACKWELL (B.B.A. Marketing 06) Blackwell, of Griffin, GA, is a 2006 graduate with a degree in Marketing and is pursuing her MBA at Clayton State University. ANDY KIVES (B.A.S. Administrative Management 01) Kives, a 2001 graduate with a degree in Administrative Management, is the Director of Sales at Southern Polyurethanes, Inc., in Canton, GA. He lives in Stockbridge, GA. ANDY BLOCH (B.B.A. Marketing 04) Bloch, of Lilburn, GA, is a 2004 graduate in Marketing. He is a Sales Coordinator for Olympus Media. PRECIOUS PROTHRO (B.A. Middle Grades Education 06) Prothro, of Fairburn, GA, is a teacher at Dutchtown Middle School. She was recently named by Georgia State Superintendent Kathy Cox to the statewide Georgia Teacher Advisory Council. BAIRD II (B.B.A. Marketing 06) Baird, of Social Circle, GA, works in Rental Management for Penske Truck Leasing in Conyers, GA. He graduated in 2006 with a degree in Marketing. ERICA (JACKSON) PARKS (B.A.S. Administrative Management 06) Parks, of Locust Grove, GA, is a paralegal at Kessler, Schwarz & Solomiany, P.C., in Atlanta, GA. Nursing 96) Wittell, of Mooresville, IN, is a high school nurse in Indiana and also works as a PRN in an emergency department. Holly (Stewart) Moss (A.S. Dental Hygiene 96) Moss, of Greenwood, SC, is a partner and dental hygienist at Moss & Associates General Dentistry in Greenwood, SC. GEORGE S. CREWS (B.I.T. Information Technology 02) Crews, of Jonesboro, GA, is owner of Crews Publications. He is the author of Ellen G. Goes Fishing, which is an educational book for children. It assists with vocabulary, simplifies multiplication, and extends scientific knowledge.

Biology 05) McGill, of Stockbridge, GA, is a research intern in the Biosciences Division at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Her research at Oak Ridge focuses on determining the cause of diseases such as polycystic kidney disease (PKD), a progressive, genetic disease that occurs in humans and other organisms. RUBEN ACOSTA (B.A. History 06) In 2007, Acosta, of Hampton, GA, won the Jack Mangham Experiential Learning Student of the Year Award, sponsored by Georgia Association of Colleges and Employers. He completed his internship at the Atlanta Preservation Center. ANGELA (HAY) BOWERS (B.A.S. Allied Health Administration 99) Bowers, of Oxford, GA, is a refund specialist with Newton Medical Center. She is a member of the Health Care Financial Management Association. CANDACE HENRY (B.A. Music 06) Henry, of Lithonia, GA, graduated in 2006 and is a Counselor in the Clayton State Admissions Office. KIM (HAMILTON) KAMMERER (b.s. Mathematics 02) Kammerer, of Jonesboro, GA, is a seventh grade math teacher at Ray Davis Middle School in Stockbridge, GA. She is a former Teacher of the Year at Edwards Middle School in 2001 and named on the list of Who s Who Among America s Teachers in 2004 and ALEXANDER D. Information Technology 03) Van der Westhuizen was named a director with the Tucker Youth Soccer Association, specializing in goalkeeping instruction.
