2 An Overview Kraft Foods Inc., the world s second largest food and drink company acquired Cadbury PLC in February 2010 for 11.9 billion. The combination of Kraft Foods and Cadbury creates a global powerhouse in snacks, confectionery and quick meals. Kraft Foods Inc. employs approximately 140,000 people worldwide and operates in more than 70 countries with sales in over 150. With annual revenues of approximately $48 billion, we have manufacturing and processing facilities in over 180 countries with 11 dedicated research and development centres.
