1 College Goals The college goals, outcomes and metric are described below. Threads to be incorporated throughout the document (horizontal threads) include: Technology, Celebrations/Honors, Interprofessional Collaboration, Student Centeredness, Diverse Perspectives, Evidence-Based Approach, and the respective AACN Essentials. Goal 1 To cultivate a culture of professional excellence in a college climate of mutual respect, trust and organizational effectiveness. Faculty development is focused on teaching, scholarship, service, & practice Documentation of individual faculty development plans Meets criteria for rank and/or advancement Faculty, Department Chairs, APT Committee Faculty and students will engage in professional nursing education to achieve student learning outcomes Pre-licensure students will achieve 95% of national NCLEX pass rates, employment rates, and student/employer satisfaction Graduate students (other than CNL) will achieve 90% on national certification, employment rates, and student/employer satisfaction Fully implement established policies regarding professional conduct and ethics. Program Directors, lead faculty, all faculty, PAC, Associate Dean Academic Affairs Sustain support for faculty achievement in publications Elevate the quality and number of external grant applications Members of the CON will pursue thorough discussion of issues in an environment of mutual respect and trust that fosters open critical debate Fully implement ATI support system At least one active writing group will continue with an increase in publication number above FY13. A minimum of 4 external grant applications vetted through the Office of Research and Evaluation Robert s rules will be the recognized standard for meeting conduct in the CON Office of and Research Consultant Office of and Research Consultant Administration, faculty and Staff

BSN curriculum redesign approved at University level Documentation of formalized approval by all UT and BGSU entities Plan available in BSN recruitment literature Approved curriculum in the college catalog and student handbook CON Curriculum Committee, Director BSN Program Sustained enrollment of DNP program Enrollment of MSN to DNP and BSN to DNP programs per OBR approved plan Assistant Dean of Student Services, DNP Program Director, Associate Dean of Sustained commitment to faculty dedicated research time Expand internal resources to support faculty research Doctoral prepared faculty have a plan for a defined program of research. Continuation of 1.0 FTE dedicated research time for continuing faculty in FY2015 CON budget Full utilization of Buchman Fund. Expand new sources of funding.
