2 10+ years of EAD Principles EUROCONTROL operates and manages the EAD on behalf of its Member States, and provides a system/service to AIS Providers supporting the delivery of AIS Services as defined by ICAO Annex 15 States remain responsible for providing the AIS and the information published. AIS Providers of migrated States (Civil & Mil) are responsible for inserting, maintaining and correcting their national data directly in the EAD Provision of the EAD IT, Data Operations and Training services are contracted to private Service Provider(s) 2

In conformity with the ISO 9000 series of quality assurance standards, and certified by an approved organisation ICAO Annex 15 (Aeronautical Information Services), Annex 4 (Aeronautical Charts), etc. European Commission 73/2010 Aeronautical Data Quality (ADQ) IR 1034/2011 Safety Oversight in ATM and ANS 1035/2011 Common requirements for the provision of air navigation services 8

European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) EAD service is in certification process by EASA as ATM/ANS Service Provider Organisation (AIS Service Provision) According to regulations EU 1034/2011, 1035/2011 and 73/2010 To be finalised by Q Data Providers - Static Data Completeness Data Provision in accordance with EAD Static Data Catalogue Procedures and report facility in place supporting Data Providers in achieving full static data completeness Data Providers data quality monitoring Continuous monitoring of data completeness, and Data Quality requirements according to ADQ specifications Available on EAD web site 9
