The carriers recommended are prioritized based on a combination of advantageous premium rates, minimal underwriting, efficient processing of new business, carrier rating/financials, and commissions to the agent. The lists are not all encompassing. They are designed to show the top carriers we d recommend only. Other carriers are available. Final Expense/Burial Expense Life (Simplified Issue) United of Omaha Oxford Life Assurity Life Sagicor Americo Forethought Royal Neighbors Presidential Mortgage Term Life (Simplified Issue Term Life) Americo Life Assurity Life United of Omaha Sagicor Life Simplified Issue Single Premium Life Sagicor Americo Life Oxford Life EquiTrust Life Mutual Trust Sagicor Aviva Legacy/Assurity Lafayette Life Guaranteed Issue Life Insurance Presidential Life Americo Life These products are designed for clients with significant health issues, or that are adverse to going through full underwriting (usually due to fear of the needle used in the typical blood test associated with a paramedical exam). The premium rates are typically higher than most fully underwritten products of a similar nature, but with clients that may not qualify standard or better with full underwriting, these simplified issue plans are a great option to consider. There is little to no underwriting, which generally means your client s coverage will go into effect quickly and you will get paid your commission more quickly as well. Average turnaround time on simplified issue life insurance is 5-7 business days. Average turnaround on fully underwritten life insurance applications is 4-6 weeks. Simplified issue and guaranteed issue life insurance is a great way to avoid the hassles of dealing with fully underwritten life insurance, and to maximize your life insurance selling.
