3 This Guide will provide information on available carriers, products, and procedures for working with and submitting cases through Marketing Financial and how to use our website. Sales Illustrations and Product Support Your Marketing Financial Sales team will help coordinate service for you and provide sales illustrations and comprehensive sales support. Providing dedicated support, our team will handle a full range of case scenarios, including more complex cases that require detailed illustrations and carrier/product research. Submitting Cases/Application Processing All applications unless otherwise noted should be sent to Marketing Financial for processing. Please submit the original applications, associated forms/disclosures, supporting documents and any premium remitted directly to Marketing Financial. Send all applications to: Marketing Financial Services, 2960 East Battlefield, Springfield, Missouri, For all case submissions, in order to minimize delays, please ensure that the following items are accomplished when the application is taken: Verify with Marketing Financial that your carrier contracting is complete. Complete all questions on the application. Provide details to any questions answered yes on the application. Application must be signed and dated by the proposed insured, policy owner if trust, then trustees should sign), and the agent. Make sure application and all accompanying forms have been signed. Include NAIC compliant illustrations and/or disclosure forms (signed by policy owner) with the application. Order exam requirements through a carrier approved medial examiner. New Business Processing The Business Marketing Department of Marketing Financial tracks all applications and related premiums. Upon receipt, all applications are immediately assigned to a Business Marketing Consultant for processing and tracking. This Service Representative inputs your client s information/ data and begins the preliminary underwriting process (the same day). For all cases, a confirmation letter stating that the case was received along with the requirements received/ordered will be sent to you.

4 As the Business Marketing Consultant tracks your pending applications through policy issue, you will be kept informed of the progress through Pending Status Reports sent by , fax, or mail, depending on the method you choose. We encourage you to check your case status through the Marketing Financial web site, marketingfinancial.com. After the application has been approved Marketing Financial will continue to track the case until delivery requirements are received or until the policy is returned, not taken. Forms and Documents Find the forms you need through the comprehensive Forms tool on marketingfinancial.com. Applications should be completed with any required replacement forms, 1035 Exchange forms, HIV forms, disclosure forms, and avocation questionnaires. Insurance Carrier Appointments and Licensing Licensing As a general rule, insurance agents must be appointed with the insurance company before an application can be taken. This requires a current life insurance license in the state in which the agent wished to do business. Appointments To become appointed to write insurance business through a Marketing Financial carrier, please work directly with Marketing Financial. The Marketing Financial Contracting Department can handle all appointments and related matters. This includes any reappointment with an insurance company you may already be doing business with through another source.
