2 Do you recognize the situation when you have stuff that you don t need anymore taking all the storage place? Have you ever been looking for second hand items on the internet? Well in that case is the place to go for you. Give and receive. All is for free! It all started when scout friends Christoffer Munkestam and Vivi Båvner wanted to create something out of their passions, together. Christoffer loves computer programming and Vivi has devoted her life to make people more environmental friendly. In the summer of 2011 communicator Lovisa Lönegren joined the Bjussa-team and the great journey towards a non-wasting society begun. With an average of 450 ads per month Bjussa has strengthened the position as the leading website in Sweden for bortskänkes. Bjussa has been participating in EWWR every year, not only one week but all year round! page: 2 / 5
3 Vision & Mission Our aim with is to make reuse of products easy and cheap. Our vision is to make it easier to give things away instead of throwing them away. Our mission is to provide the technical platform to facilitate the process. When you use you extend the life of stuff. By reusing products energy and natural resources are saved since new items do not need to be produced, while the existing items does not need to be taken care of as waste material. The idea of is as simple as it is great. You take a photo of the stuff you want to give away (ie. a table), preferably with your smartphone, and upload it with an ad on the website. Someone who s interested in receiving your table then contacts you via the online form and the two of you decide where and when to meet up. With the secondhand service provides, items are easily mediated without money ever having to change hands. has an unique business model where companies and organisations can become Bjussa-partners. Every time they post an ad, there is also a link to their website.
