6 Have a sneak preview Starting with a Market Valuation: Arrive with a tablet device (ipad or similar), go through the pre prepared presentation of how you do business and how you d present their property should they instruct you. With a 3G or 4G connection on your tablet, capture the data there and then. Talk to them about the best price, check how many people on your database match to that price range. All your data is available (as long as you have an internet connection) Get back to the office, add any additional information, select a few comparable properties you ve recently sold, a few testimonials, a few people who match to your suggested marketing price, press the button and produce a printable or able market valuation document. If your competitors are sending an A4 sheet of paper in a DL envelope and you present the prospective client with this level of documentation, what does that say about you?

7 Managing your customer and property register couldn t be easier: The user interface: Secure login takes the user to their section within the system. Configurable dashboard shows an overview of what s important, in this case the business activity. Change the background from the grey I ve chosen to just about any colour you like. Simple navigation menu to list, search, select, duplicate, delete or add new records.

Data entry panel reflects the standard portal format for Sales, Lettings and Commercial inc. short and long description, bullet points etc. Right hand map qualifies the postcodes accuracy The left and right hand menu bars move down the screen as you move, making data entry quicker and clearer.

No longer do you need to arrive at a market valuation with a presentation prominently branded with a portals logos (as if it were they not you who were going to be marketing the property), now you can not only find the figures that help you make your market valuation, you can press the button and produce the presentation document branded in your companies fashion.

15 Mobile device friendly website: With a higher and higher percentage of website searches being made on mobile devices such as phones, it s become more and more important to have a version of your website that displays your properties correctly on these devices. We use the latest technology to provide fast reacting mobile website. When someone browsing the web on their phone hits your site they should automatically be directed to a mobile device friendly version. Similarly if you send an out with a link to a property, if the recipient is using their phone to pick it up, they should be directed to the mobile device version of the more details.

16 QR Codes: Their usefulness cannot be overstated. QR stands for Quick Response. All smart phones can use QR codes to scan and then go straight to a website or page on a website. The use of QR codes in the UK is growing, although not as fast as it is in some other places around the world. The advantage is obvious. Add a QR code to a newspaper advert, window card, magazine advert, on the For Sale board, etc. and the user can find the full details of the property they are interested in without typing a long and tricky website address. You can be clever and add a promotion code to identify how many hits on your website have come via QR codes. Using QR codes in an intelegent way means you can direct users who have clicked on one from an advert for a property that has already be sold to a page telling them how good you are as you ve already sold that property but here are some similar ones they might be interested in. Adding a QR code on your front door can take the user to a page on your website showing your opening times and/or out of normal working hours imergency telephone numbers. This one is a link to

17 Digital Displays: Love them or hate them, they do make passers by turn their head. Using our latest software means any machine with an internet connection and a monitor attached can act as a digital display. There s no software to install other than ensuring the machine is using a modern browser such as Firefox, Chrome or the latest Internet Explorer. Turn your desktop into a digital display: Whilst you re away from your desk, spin your screen around and it can become a digital display, running through available properties Social Networking: Another task that should be done! We can take the drudgery out of it. Allow us to create a Blog/news page on your website and if you can just manage to create one news item every week or even every other week, we can automatically Tweet it and Facebook it for you. We can do the same thing with new instructions, thus taking a little of the pain out of social networking. Don t have a Business Facebook or Twitter page, let us know and we can create those for you.

19 Telephone integration: Is this the last piece in the jigsaw? Probably not but it s getting close. With the new generation of cloud based software comes the new generation of lower cost hosted PBX telephone exchanges. ClarksCloud integrates with our partner companies telephone system to allow on screen dialling, on screen caller recognition and update call log against the contact record in our CRM. We switched to this system and have not only saved more than 30% in maintenance and phone changes but have also allowed ourselves much greater flexibility to work from home and abroad.

20 Magazine both in-house and online: Why not take advantage of our personalised magazine server. I m sure you ve seen these publications from other agents, well now you can have one too. The good news is: if you can get a few advertisers, they ll be free as far as you re concerned. they end up sitting on peoples coffee tables for months on end promoting your company name and your properties. Not had enough reason to have them yet: the properties advertised at the back will (should) sell over time but the advert isn t wasted, the QR code will direct users to a page telling them you ve sold that property but how about looking at these similar properties we have for sale. Still not convinced: the printed version is digitised and becomes an online version. That also becomes a blog entry an able news item. Plus we can tweet it and Facebook it.
