3 1. Basic Description of the Company Profile and Presentation of the Company The company Ty-net was founded in 1990 as a Limited Liability Company. Since its establishment the company has dealt in designing and implementation of communication networks, whether the Arcnet type terminal networks of the company s very beginning, or the current structured cabling, which enables integration of various types of communication systems. As part of the provision of comprehensive services, Ty-net started to provide complete solutions in 1992, thus expanding its scope with supplies of active components, bearing elements, power circuits of computer networks and back-up power sources. Later on, telephone exchange switchboards were added, as well as electronic security systems, electronic fire alarm systems, TV aerial systems, and access control systems. All activities of the company include design and pre-sale support, consulting services, project management, post-sale support and servicing. The engineering activities of the company Ty-net range over the following areas: Information and communication systems, including system integration; Versatile types of networks ensuring independence of applications operated on a cabling system; Power supply systems for computer technology and communication devices; Electronic security systems, electronic fire alarm systems, TV aerial systems; CCTV systems and access control systems; Construction of concealed electro-installation systems enabling installation and permanent access to all power-supply and communicational cabling within a building, with the possibility of later expansion. In order to guarantee the supply of superior solutions in the above areas, Ty-net cooperates with top world manufacturers in the respective areas. In 1992, Ty-net became an authorised partner of AT&T (now AVAYA) and holder of a System Integrator Certificate, with the authorisation to design, install and maintain the cabling system Systimax SCS. In the same year, Ty-net became a representative of the German companies ACKERMANN a manufacturer of electro-installation and communication systems (floor and floor-embedded bearing components for areas with dry and wet cleaning), and TEHALIT a manufacturer of electro-installation materials for installations in representative interiors and outdoor environments. In 1995, the company commenced cooperation with the Swiss company EBO a manufacturer of electro-installation systems for aggressive environments of production plants. In 1998, the companies Bay Networks and Northern Telecom merged, with Ty-net becoming a partner of the company Nortel Networks with the status of Enterprise Solution Partner. The company has cooperated in installations of telecommunication systems with the German manufacturer Siemens since In order to ensure technological independence and the ability to provide a choice of solutions, the company cooperates with several suppliers in each relevant area. In 1998, the company established new partnerships with e.g. RIT, PANDUIT, MOD-TAP and Reichle & De-Massari (structured cabling systems), Cisco Systems (active components of data networks) and AVAYA (telecommunications and active components of data networks). As already mentioned in relation to the above activities, the company provides design, consulting and coordinating services in project management, where a unified approach ensures considerable savings in both the initial investment and subsequent costs of maintenance and administration.

4 SYSTEM INTEGRATION The following activities are provided by the company as a system integrator in the form of complete solutions, from project design to realisation of the specified range of performances. Structured Cabling Systems As already mentioned, the company offers the most frequently implemented cabling systems AVAYA Systimax Structured Cabling System, RIT Smart Cabling System, PANDUIT systems Certification Plus and OKUS, MOD-TAP system MOD-TAP. Systimax SCS is an integrated cabling distribution system with open architecture, providing an environment for a broad range of applications, enabling modular expansion, and accommodating a wide range of customer demands. This cabling system has remained for several years at the top-end of technological development in versatile cabling systems. Its main advantage is provision of a complete system, comprising a set of components, design principles and strictly defined installation and user procedures. All created, tested and guaranteed by a single entity the creator of the system, the company AVAYA. The Systimax system uses Unshielded Twisted Pair metallic cables and optical fibres to connect various devices and networks in the areas of multifunctional data and voice communicational systems, telephone digital and analogue switchboards, computers and computer networks, audio/video systems, imaging systems, fax devices, management systems, industrial devices, security and fire alarm systems, attendance systems, and, unified time systems and other systems. Applications which do not directly support UTP networks can be connected over adaptors enabling use of the same network even for such systems (e.g. terminal network AS/400) with guaranteed functionality of the whole system, not merely the adaptor. Ty-net has been certified a System Integrator within the partnership with AVAYA. 2. Communication Systems Components Networking active components are an indispensable part of modern information systems, where they ensure interconnection and cooperation of separate components of communication systems. Since active components act as the backbone of the whole system, great emphasis is placed on their reliability and performance. On the other hand, the aspect of future protection of

5 investment cannot be overlooked either, the proposed system must allow for growth and development of requirements of the customer as well as easy expandability with future technologies. Ty-net therefore implements such products that ensure compliance with the above requirements in design and installation of data networks. That is why Ty-net cooperates with top world manufacturers in this area, such as Nortel Networks, Cisco Systems and AVAYA. Product ranges of the above companies allow our company to fulfil the most demanding requests for unified communication infrastructures, integrating data, voice and video. A communication system of such parameters then enables provision of services as required by communicational demands of the customer. The unified communication infrastructure can then serve various ends in accordance with the size and coverage of the organisation - WAN (wide area networks), MAN (metropolitan area networks), LAN (local area networks). The current product portfolio of Nortel Networks, Cisco Systems and AVAYA covers the following areas: Data products hubs, switches, multi-protocol routers, etc. Voice products private branch exchanges (PBX), telephone sets, call distribution centres, Video products switches and other devices for transfer and storage of video Multifunctional devices for data, voice and video integration Applications and equipment for configuration, management and administration of the whole communication system. Required information systems can be built with the use of products by the above companies for the majority of available world standards and protocols, thus ensuring compatibility with products by other manufacturers. This mode of installation enables seamless transition from older communication systems to modern technologies. Ty-net has acquired the highest degree of certification with the company Nortel Networks and has become a certified partner both in the commercial and technological area - ESP, and in the service area - PSP. These certificates document the capability of Ty-net to provide top superior solutions and services based on technology by Nortel Networks. In terms of cooperation with the companies Cisco Systems and AVAYA, Ty-net has been certified a Reseller in the area of active networking components. 3. Devices for Measurements and Testing of Data Networks Every cabling installation includes measurements and processing of protocols on these measurements. Ty-net is a partner of the company FLUKE (formerly Microtest), offering measurement devices from the simplest types, used during assembly, to diagnostic equipment used for operational testing of networks, analysing higher transfer layers. 4. Bearing Components of Cabling All cabling, communicational and power-supply alike, can be placed in versatile multichambered cable trays, thus enabling joint installation of different systems and easy replacement without a requirement for constructional modifications and/or alteration of business operations. The service life of these components exceeds that of the cabling by several times. Besides standard domestic products, the company uses products by TEHALIT, ACKERMANN and EBO in its installations.

6 TEHALIT offers trays, channels, and complete modular sets for surface installations in the most demanding interiors. ACKERMANN manufactures floor and floor-embedded channels including terminating components for installations in floors with different flooring materials (carpet, tiles, etc.). EBO manufactures channels, trays and bridges for demanding and chemically aggressive industrial or outdoor environments, for which standard materials are unsuitable. 5. High Voltage Mains A comprehensive solution for a high voltage mains by our company includes a switchboard and connecting system by Hager, including module devices. The system is applied in various electro-engineering areas from personnel shock protection, protection of equipment from overload and short circuits, including power surges, over measurement and regulation to controlling of light sources. The product programme includes a range of switchboards from plastic mini-switchboards to case models up to 630 A. Special attention should be given to measurement switchboards, where suitable selection of case, preinstalled fields and other components enables construction of nearly any required type of switchboard in compliance with conditions of connection as specified by individual power suppliers. Power consumption measurement switchboards are approved by all power suppliers in the Czech Republic. The Hager system enables a complete technological solution of power supply mains from residential buildings to medium-level industry. 6. Back-up Power Sources Seamless operation of computer technology requires a reliable and permanent power supply for some components at least. Power supply sources for computer technology therefore often include an uninterruptible power source UPS. Our company can offer systems by Best Power Technology, Argo, Sicon, Emerson and Victron as per the customer s wishes and can also provide installation of back-up powering by generators Electronic Security Systems, Electronic Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV Systems In close cooperation with partner companies, Ty-net, spol. s r. o., offers services in the following areas: - electronic security signalisation - electronic fire alarms - closed-circuit television - systems of public address systems for buildings and public areas - access control and attendance registration - unified time equipment

7 Our company can supply the above systems and services from project design through to supply and complete installation to continuous servicing within six hours, including initial and periodical inspections of these systems. Our partners are e.g. an authorised importer and authorised assembler of the Swiss SECURITON AG and the Italian Sicurit Alarmitalia, and a direct importer of security technology Sanyo, Panasonic, Geutebruck, and optical devices Pentax. In the area of security and fire alarms, our partners are authorised to design, install, inspect and service equipment by the German companies Eff-eff, Zettler, the Swiss SECURITON- HEKATRON, Austrian Labor-Straus, and the Czech company Lites Liberec. The majority of offered equipment complies with the German standard VdS, class C; all components of electronic security systems and electronic fire alarm systems are approved for use in the Czech Republic. Public address systems for buildings and public areas are based on technology of the Italian PASO or Dutch Philips. 8. TV Aerial Systems Our company can supply equipment for a joint television aerial comprising the aerial system, amplifier of the system, coaxial cable mains and individual outlets. This equipment can be expanded by a satellite reception set in accordance with the customer s requirements. 9. Constructional Performances for Low Voltage Mains In relation to cabling installations, the company ensures the complete supply of necessary constructional works through our partners. The works performed include e.g. construction of cabling routes, penetrations and cleaning thereof, construction of cable channels, blow-installation of cables, etc. Our company offers to secure installation of power supply systems for computer technology as well as power supply mains for a whole building, including back-up power generators for maintenance of operation in emergency situations, with possible installation of surge protection on several levels according to sensitivity and value of connected equipment.

8 SERVICES 1. Quality Assurance Programme Ty-net carries out orders in accordance with a Quality Assurance Programme (Quality Plan) elaborated for each order separately in accordance with requirements of standards of the range CSN ISO Declaration of Quality Ty-net, s.r.o., undertakes business in the areas of project design, engineering and servicing of communication networks. One of the core objectives of the company has been from the beginning to ensure a superior quality of supplied products and services in accordance with valid legislation and standards of the Czech Republic. The area of quality assurance is an integral part of market-oriented management of the company, with the main objective being the perpetual satisfaction of requirements of domestic as well as foreign customers. Shortly after the establishment of the company and stabilisation of its operations, the implementation of the quality assurance system commenced. With respect to strategic focus, a quality system model was selected in accordance with recommendations of the international standard CSN ISO The declaration of the management, responsibility of the management, the quality system, measures, objectives and procedures of creation and the implementation of the quality system are described in greater detail in the document Quality Assurance Concept of Ty-net, s.r.o. This document was completed in Currently, there is a process of analysis of separate components of the quality system (in accordance with CSN ISO 9001) and development of the basic set of documentation (Quality Manual, guidelines, procedures,...). This activity places special emphasis on close relations to practice and thorough awareness of all employees of the company. Each order will have a quality plan prepared in accordance with CSN ISO , which will specify particular manners of quality assurance for each particular business case. All activities under quality assurance will be carried out by duly qualified employees in accordance with appropriate documentation, and will be inspected and properly documented. Documents (Quality Records) will be handed over to the customer as protocols in the extent specified in the contract. Quality of Delivery The proposal for, and project design, installation, inspection and testing of individual components and communication systems as a whole are carried out by duly authorised, trained and qualified employees (authorised engineer, authorised technician). Quality of the supply will be documented by quality certificates. Materials proposed as part of the quality system are supplied by manufacturers complying with quality levels required by standards ISO 9001, Installation of the system will be carried out in accordance with conditions of installation. Work Safety Plan

9 All installations are carried out in accordance with general work safety regulations and requirements applicable in the Czech Republic, and the programme of safety assurance and work hygiene in relation to safety documents and MPP of the customer. Consultations Ty-net provides consulting as part of its complete solution and support in individual areas as specified above. This consulting aims to achieve several objectives. Firstly, the provision of a complete overview for the given issue. Secondly, a proposal for a specific solution in accordance with submitted requirements. Such requirements may either be defined in advance or specified gradually in cooperation with the provider, in accordance with particular issues and needs. In order to ensure highest possible compliance of the solution with the needs of the customer, our company also offers to carry out an analysis of the current conditions of the customer s premises. This analysis then serves as basis for the overall solution. Development and implementation of the solution is then conducted in cooperation with the customer. 3. Warranty and Post-warranty Servicing Conditions of warranty and post-warranty servicing are always specified in the performance contract, or service contract. The warranty period is provided with dependence on the nature of the delivery and conditions provided by manufacturers of the respective devices. In the area of post-warranty servicing, the company has implemented a programme of permanent servicing with a guaranteed period of remedy from 6 to 24 hours of the reporting of a problem (depending on the nature of the failure and the requirements of the customer). The fact that the company has branches in Brno and Prague is a good starting point for service coverage of the whole territory of the Czech Republic.

12 Technical Solution of the Tender Subject-matter The provider shall ship all supplied components after their proper registration to the agreed venue and carry out installation and configuration thereof. Installation and configuration of active components may be carried out in accordance with Microsoft standards. Delivery Terms and Hand-over Procedures Ty-net spol. s r. o., guarantees delivery, installation and implementation within the required period at the venue specified by the employer. Installation and configuration of active components (ipatch) will be carried out by trained and certified employees of our company. Warranty and Service Conditions Other materials and work related to installation thereof is subject to a two-year warranty. Ty-net, spol. s r. o., undertakes to respond to a reported failure and commence the remedying of such a reported failure in accordance with the standard warranty conditions within 48 hours of the report. All repairs are free for the duration of the warranty period, including the work of the technician and travel expenses of the latter. Ty-net, spol. s r. o., offers above-standard warranty and post-warranty conditions for the equipment supplied. Ty-net, spol. s r. o., offers service intervention even on bank holidays, with the response times or times until the remedy (repair) within a specified time period from the receiving of the report of a failure.
