5 LONG PERIMETER Anti-Vehicle Security Fence ANTI-VEHICLE BSI PAS 68 The BRISTORM anti-vehicle security fence was developed by HILL & SMITH LTD and comprises galvanized high tensile steel ropes, substantial main anchor posts and lightweight intermediate line posts. The BRISTORM wire rope is incredibly strong but still allows a clear line of sight beyond the perimeter. It is designed to immobilise attacking vehicles and is tested and approved to BSI PAS 68. The BRISTORM fence can withstand ramming attacks by a vehicle and remains in place, preventing subsequent encroachment and maintains vital stand-off. It is available in five specifications, including BRISTORM Arrestor - a temporary system enabling the installer to select the product appropriate to the threat faced. The BRISTORM team are able to provide a range of perimeter security products, such as gates and bollards, and, with the knowledge of BSI PAS 68 and 69, can assist in designing the most cost effective perimeter security system. The Hi Mast system is manufactured from a single aluminium extrusion thus minimizing the amount of manufacturing required to produce the finished product. This reduces the carbon footprint and the fact that is made from aluminium, not only does it have a high resistance to corrosion but also means it can be easily and repeatedly recycled if it is damaged, using just five per cent of the energy required to produce the original section.
