We operate in a heavily regulated industry and we know how difficult it can be for drivers and other staff to keep up to speed with the rules that affect them while they are at work. At the same time, we believe we have a responsibility to our customers to provide staff that are fully aware of (and comply with) all relevant legislation. Daily Walk Around Check 85% of all defects found in roadside inspections could have been avoided if the driver had completed their daily walk around check correctly. These checks not only improve safety for the driver and other road users, but also help to increase legal compliance and can reduce vehicle maintenance costs. This course shows learners why the checks are so important, what features need to be checked inside and outside the vehicle, and the actions to take if any defects are identified.
