MERRIFIELD, VA Managed the development and operations of Mosaic Green Commute, a transportation management program designed to maximize the overall success of the Mosaic District redevelopment. Mosaic District is a mixed use project on the 31-acre site located which when fully built out the project will total 1.8 million gross square feet of combined retail, hotel, office, and residential space. Currently manage ongoing marketing and outreach efforts for the transportation program. TYSONS E-COMMUTE: SPRING HILL STATION TDM PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONS, GREYSTAR. TYSONS, VA Managed the development and operations of Tysons E- Commute, a transportation management program designed to maximize the overall success of the Spring Hill Station redevelopment. Spring Hill Station is a mixed-use project which when fully built out the project will total 2.6 million gross square feet of office space, over 2,700 residential dwelling units, over 600 hotel rooms, and more than 185,00 square feet of retail. Currently oversee ongoing marketing and outreach as well as monitoring and evaluation efforts for the transportation program designed to help achieve required trip reduction goals for the site. GO MET: METROPOLITAN DOWNTOWN COLUMBIA TDM PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONS, KETTLER. COLUMBIA, MD Managed the development and operations of Go Met, a transportation management program designed to maximize the overall success of the Metropolitan development in Downtown Columbia, Maryland and help achieve its trip generation goals. The Metropolitan is a mixed-use project which includes 437 multifamily units and approximately 27,025 square feet of retail/restaurant space. MEADERIDE, FORT MEADE-BWI BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP. FORT GEORGE MEADE, MD. Ms. Kulyk assisted with the design and implementation of the MeadeRide program, an initiative seeking to promote travel choices as different defense agencies relocate to Fort Meade, MD as part of the BRAC process. Tasks included direct commuter assistance through large scale outreach events including relocation fairs, vanpool formation meetings and other agency-specific activities. TOWERS CRESCENT COMMUTER CONCIERGE, QUADRANGLE MANAGEMENT. MCLEAN, VA. Worked with Quadrangle Property management to create and implement the Commuter Concierge program, a commuter resource program for building tenants and commuters. Project tasks included basic TDM services and service coordination; new program development, research, branding and marketing; TDM product development and the development and marketing of a

RIDGERIDES, THE RIDGEWOOD APARTMENTS, WHITECO RESIDENTIAL. FAIRFAX, VA. Worked with Whiteco Residential to develop and launch the RidgeRides program, a residential program targeted at reducing single occupant travel at a single apartment building in Fairfax, VA. Project tasks included basic TDM services and service coordination; new program development, research, branding and marketing; TDM product development and the development and marketing of a travel incentive program. ACCESS TYSONS, TYSONS CORNER CENTER TDM IMPLEMENTATION. MCLEAN, VA. Worked on the implementation of a TDM Strategic Plan for Macerich, a national mall management company. The project involved maintenance of existing TDM activities and the development of new products and services as defined in the TDM Strategic Plan. Project tasks included basic TDM services and service coordination; new program development, research, branding and marketing; TDM product development and the development and marketing of a travel incentive program. COMMUTER REVOLUTION, CITY OF ALEXANDRA COMMUTER CHALLENGE. ALEXANDRIA, VA. Led a team to develop a pilot commuter challenge program for the City of Alexandria. This program targeted employers to recruit their employees into a program where they commit to relying on their car less for their commutes during a one-month period. For this project, task included the development of a communication plan, digital and employer recruitment strategy and marketing and branding of the project. CITY OF ROCKVILLE, TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM MANAGEMENT, COMMUTER CHALLENGE. ROCKVILLE, MD. Assisted the City of Rockville in the development and implementation of a transportation program. The project involved the development and implementation of TDM strategies and practices for the City of Rockville. The goal was to develop and implement city-wide TDM strategies to reduce congestion and improve air quality. Task orders included securing ZipCar spaces in the Town Square, design and development of a Commuter Challenge and the development of a TDM website. As project manager, responsibilities included developing and implementing project design; budgeting; contract management; invoicing and creating reports, briefings and presentations aimed at informing clients and key partners of project progress and future steps.
4 ONE LESS CAR HOUSTON. HOUSTON, TX. Led the planning, implementing and evaluating of a travel behavior change program aimed at reducing vehicles miles traveled in and around the Houston Medical Center. The project was designed to test the effectiveness of an individualized marketing campaign aimed at motivating households to leave behind a second car for one month. As project manager, responsibilities included developing and implementing project design; budgeting; contract management; invoicing and creating reports, briefings and presentations aimed at informing clients and key partners of project progress and future steps. TDM MARKETING & OUTREACH METROPOLITAN WASHINGTON COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS EMPLOYER BASED INDIVIDUALIZED MARKETING; WASHINGTON, D.C. Led this project which involved conducting individualized marketing campaigns with the objective of increasing an organization s commuter benefit programs and employee participation rates within these programs. The goal was to work with both the employer and employees on an individual basis to motivate them to change their commuting behavior and to actively support transportation demand management policies and strategies in the workplace. Employer sites in Frederick County included George Mason University as well sites in DC that included Howard University, The World Bank and XM Radio with the number of employees ranging from 400 to 10,000. As project manager, responsibilities included developing and implementing project design; budgeting; contract management; invoicing and creating reports, briefings and presentations aimed at informing clients and key partners of project progress and future steps. LOCAL MOTION EMPLOYER OUTREACH SALES & TECHNICAL SERVICES; ALEXANDRIA, VA. Managed outreach effort to build awareness of the Local Motion program in the business community of Alexandria. This included conducting individualized marketing campaigns with the objective of increasing an organization s commuter benefit programs and employee participation rates within these programs. The goal was to work with both the employer and employees on an individual basis to motivate them to change their commuting behavior and to actively support transportation demand management policies and strategies in the workplace. DOWNTOWN D.C. BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TRAVELER INFO: GODCGO.COM; WASHINGTON, D.C. Provided assistance in the development and implementation of godcgo.com. This involved designing, developing and marketing a traveler information website for the Downtown D.C.
5 area. The objective of this project was to assist in changing travel behavior and reduce traffic congestion in and around downtown D.C. Building on the District government s mapping system godcgo.com includes information on parking transit, bicycling, car sharing and more. The site also features an interactive map and links to other D.C. transportation information resources. As project manager, responsibilities included developing and implementing project design, marketing plans and a web-site management plan; budgeting; contract management; invoicing and creating reports, briefings and presentations aimed at informing clients and key partners of project progress and future steps. TRIANGLE TRANSIT: EMPLOYER INDIVIDUALIZED MARKETING; RALEIGH/DURHAM, NC. Worked with Triangle Transit on the planning and implementation of an employer-based individualized marketing campaign with the objective of increasing an organization s commuter benefit programs and employee participation rates within these internal programs as well as the regional TDM program called GoTriangle. The goal was to work with both the employer and employees on an individual basis to motivate them to change their commuting behavior and to actively support transportation demand management strategies in the workplace and region. Employer sites included Duke University, North Carolina State University, Rex Healthcare, EPA, RTI, and City of Raleigh. As project manager, responsibilities included developing and implementing project design; budgeting; contract management; invoicing and creating reports, briefings and presentations aimed at informing clients and key partners of project progress and future steps. REGION OF PEEL ECOMOBILITY: EMPLOYER INDIVIDUALIZED MARKETING PILOT; BRAMPTON/MISSISSAUGA, CANADA. Provided the Region of Peel with program assistance in the development and implementation of an employer-based individualized marketing pilot project under Transport Canada s EcoMobility program. The Region of Peel s employer-based individualized marketing pilot integrated the core practices of the residential approach with traditional employer outreach - segmenting, customized information and an opportunity to test the alternative modes. The project team developed effective tailored messaging and outreach techniques to the diverse communities and transportation programs that exist throughout the Region of Peel. Through market analysis and an in-depth review of the local context, barriers and opportunities were identified to increase use of alternative transportation modes and tailor marketing messages and materials accordingly. Working closely with the Region of Peel, Smart Commute Mississauga, Smart Commute Brampton-Caledon and the City of Mississauga, the project team developed strategy and materials that resulted in more people (employees) choosing to use alternative transportation modes. As project manager, responsibilities included developing and implementing project design; staff training; budgeting contract management; invoicing and creating reports, briefings and presentations aimed at informing clients and key partners of project progress and future steps. REGION OF WATERLOO ECOMOBILITY INDIVIDUALIZED MARKETING PILOT: EMPLOYER AND RESIDENTIAL ASSISTANCE; KITCHENER, CANADA. Assisted in the development and implementation of residential and employer individualized marketing projects and evaluation for Transport Canada s EcoMobility initiative for the Region of Waterloo. The EcoMobility projects were designed to test the application of individualized marketing as an innovative, customized and tailored approach to changing travel behavior of Uptown/Dearborne/Eastbridge residents
6 and Waterloo employees. The project attempted to change travel behavior by empowering the individuals through information and knowledge, motivating the household through incentives and supporting the household through activities and resources. CITY OF ALEXANDRIA LOCAL MOTION PROGRAM, MARKETING PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION. ALEXANDRIA, VA. Assisted the City of Alexandria to develop and implement brand enhancements and short-term marketing and promotions campaigns to support the City s Local Motion program. This included the creation of employer outreach kits and move-in kits for new residents and promotional campaigns for vanpooling, transit and the local transit store, the Old Town Transit Shop. The campaign encouraged residents and commuters to visit the Old Town Transit Shop through advertising and one-on-one outreach at key locations around town, such as the King Street Metro Station. Outreach and advertising for the shop provided a strong call to action and incentives for commuters to visit. SMART COMMUTE MISSISSAUGA, MARKETING MATERIAL DESIGN, MISSISSAUGA. ONTARIO, CANADA. Provided the design and production of an employer sales kit and general marketing brochure. The project involved reviewing the current sales approach (including existing marketing collateral) and existing market research, establishing design criteria and objectives, developing conceptual framework and a creative brief and assessing production costs and timeline. As project manager, responsibilities included developing and implementing project design; budgeting; contract management; invoicing and creating reports, briefings and presentations aimed at informing clients and key partners of project progress and future steps. SAN LUIS OBISPO REGIONAL RIDESHARE MARKETING PLAN. SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA. Provided research assistance in the effort to analyze the effectiveness of existing marketing programs for the region s Summer Break Pass, Gold Pass and Employer Pass programs. Developed survey and focus group methodologies to determine barriers to the use of existing pass programs and to test marketing materials and messages. Oversaw the development of marketing plans and collateral based on information obtained through the survey process, review of the existing pass programs and analysis of similar pass programs. The result included a redesign of SLO s Summer Break Pass, offered to K-12 students every summer so they can travel anywhere on the bus in San Luis Obispo County. TDM PROGRAM ASSESSMENT, DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION HOLTON-ARMS: TRAFFIC STUDY. BETHESDA, MD. Assisted Holton-Arms, a private and diverse independent day school for girls in the preparation of a study and traffic plan for the school campus. The goal of the study is to suggest ways to reduce traffic volume, including a plan which encourages carpooling and busing; improve the management of traffic once cars enter the campus; and detail any physical changes to the campus which would facilitate traffic flow. A strong market research strategy was developed which included a student discussion group, a parent online survey and two parent discussion groups. As the market research lead, responsibilities included developing and implementing the market research design; budgeting; contract management; report writing; briefings and presentations aimed at informing clients and key partners of project progress and future steps.
7 CENTER FOR TRANSPORTATION AND EVALUATION, ASAP+ EVALUATION TOOL. ATLANTA, GA. Assisted CTE in finalizing the survey methodology and process for the Atlantic Station Evaluation and Monitoring Program. A key component of this program was an electronic travel diary. Ms. Menjivar helped design a web-based travel-tracking tool with an administrative function to serve as the primary survey tool used in conducting Atlantic Station s travel survey. As project manager, responsibilities included developing and implementing project design; budgeting; contract management; invoicing and creating reports, briefings and presentations aimed at informing clients and key partners of project progress and future steps. MARRIOTT HOTEL, TRAVEL BEHAVIOR ASSESSMENT. VIENNA, VA. Led the design and implementation of a survey of employees to determine the transportation characteristics of Marriott Hotel staff. The purpose of the survey was to form the basis of a transportation systems management (TSM) program for the development in order to reduce single occupant vehicle (SOV) traffic generated by the site. As project manager, responsibilities included developing and implementing project design; budgeting; contract management; invoicing and creating reports, briefings and presentations aimed at informing clients and key partners of project progress and future steps.
