Not only do the senior sponsors plan activities, but also sponsors help the school counselor in making students ready for life after graduation (college choices, scholarships, admission essays and recommendations, etc ). Senior Fees Senior fees include: Yearbook $50.00 Senior package $75.00 Prom (1 Ticket and favor) $75.00 Cap & Gown w/ diploma cover $ Senior Week $ Payment Schedule: Senior fees can be paid all at once, but so that expenses will not overwhelm students and their families the following payment schedule is suggested. September 5, 2014 $75.00 October 3, 2014 $50.00 November 7, 2014 $50.00 December 5, 2014 $50.00 January 9, 2015 $50.00 February 6, 2015 $50.00 March 6, 2015 $50.00 April 17, 2015 $50.00 If senior fees are not paid in full by April 17, 2015, that senior will not be allowed to participate in any senior activity until the balance is paid in full with no refund. 5 PAGE 8 PAGE 5 Dress Code Seniors are required to be in compliance with SCS Dress Code everyday. On Fridays seniors are allowed to wear their senior class shirts and senior paraphernalia. Prom: Seniors and their dates (under the age of 21) are required to wear formal attire. Ladies are to wear a formal, age appropriate dress. Dresses should be approved by Ms. Henry. No undergarments are to be seen, no colored hair is allowed, and the body should be respectfully covered. Young men are required to wear a suit or tuxedo. No tennis shoes. Class Day: Because class day is a day set aside to honor seniors, each senior is required to wear specific attire NO EXCEPTIONS. Young Men Black slacks (no jeans, dickies, etc ) Solid White shirt with a collar Black socks Black shoes Necktie (any combination of black and white only) Shirts must be tucked and a black belt must be worn. Young Ladies White and/or Black Dress, or white/black skirt and blouse/ suit Black and/or white dress shoe or sandal NO flip flops of any kind are allowed. (If the dress or blouse has no sleeves a wrap or jacket must be worn.) Senior Class Responsibilities PLAN ACT- Each senior must take the ACT at least once prior to graduation. College Application Each Senior is required to apply to at least two colleges and/or trade schools. After applying students must show proof of application to the school counselor (an acceptance or letter of regret). Scholarships Each senior is required to apply for at least three scholarships. Financial Aid MUST be completed by February 15th NO EXCEPTIONS! Please adhere to the dress code. No student will be allowed to participate without the appropriate attire. Graduation: Young men are required to wear slacks with a shirt and tie. Young ladies are to wear a dress. Black shoes must be worn.

6 PAGE 6 PAGE 7 Senior Strikes Senior Strikes You will earn 1 strike for the following: 1. Every 2 unexcused absences 2. Every out of school suspension for more than 1 day 3. Every 5 tardies 4. Every 3 overnight suspensions 5.
