7 Need for the project Technology Current BMS is SUPRA for SQL (Structured Query Language) written in 1989 for organizations using mainframes (Cincom) New technology will support 64-bit environments and the latest operating systems (Windows 7) The architecture will allow third party software and be web-enabled. 7
