Our program grants educational units in return for participation Because participation is incentivized, our participants value having evidence of their participation Our program has thousands of participants. Sending certificates out one at a time had become very time consuming and was an opportunity for errors Adds legitimacy to our program and enhances program branding

7 What Can The Current Version Do? Combine PDF certificates with custom text 3x3 grid text placement Live preview of text placement Secured for low to medium stakes Compatible with both On- Premise and OnDemand Pair PDF and templates for distribution Generates and sends individualized certificates / pairs Simple, elegant user interface

8 How Does The Solution Work? We didn t use the QMWISe API but may in future versions Leverages OSS PHP scripts that modify PDFs and attachments Custom JavaScript and PHP used to integrate scripts, user interface and QM. Tech: JavaScript (JQuery), PHP, HTML All QM technologies

12 Uploading a PDF Background Upload a new base PDF. Use an existing base PDF (uploaded previously).

13 Configuring Custom Text Once you are happy with your settings, click Preview to generate an actual PDF preview. If you are done making edits (and have previewed the PDF), click Save. 1. Choose the base PDF. 3. Select font style. 5. Choose dynamic or custom text. 2. Select the number of lines of text 4. Select font and size. and the alignment on the page. The preview pane reflects your settings live (approximate).

14 Configuring An Template When you have filled out all fields, click Save. Fill in standard fields: address to send from, name to appear as sender, BCC or CC, and subject. The filename of the PDF certificate that will be attached to the . Type the body of the here.
